New drumheads required

You need new drumheads for this kit to sound good. I would recommend just saving more and buying a higher end kit rather than this one.

Absolutely brilliant kit to play. Deep cherry finish translates the warm sound of the maple wood. Gretsch drum heads by Remo really compliment the sound as well. All around really nice kit to play.

Nice Sounding Kit

This is a very nice sounding kit with decent hardware, especially the tom mounts. It does take quite a while to get them it in tune but once you have it is definitely worth the effort.

EDIT:

I have now had this kit for a while and would definitely recommend it if you intend to replace the stock heads. Even after hours of tuning I was still not quite happy with it and decided to get a set of Evans G2 coated for batter heads and G1 clears for resos and they have made such a massive difference. It is a more full clean sound and they are so easy to tune. I have changed my rating to five stars because this kit was well worth the money once you have replaced the stock heads.
