This bass drum compliments really nice my 14'' rack tom and 18'' floor tom. Fat and punchy sound after adding a small towel inside to reduce the overtones. After a couple of months I replaced the stock head with a remo P3, and now it sounds even better. Amazing quality for this price.

The Yamaha Stage Custom drums are simply fantastic. Pure quality that doesn't break your bank. I would recommend replacing the batter head with a professional one, for this drum I chose Remo Clear PS3. The drum is big and punchy, with great low-end and projection.
