Tama HP900PN PowerGlide Iron Cobra

Great pedal. Have used it daily for about three weeks and found no problems. Feels great and works as it is supposed to. The included case is sterdy and easy to use. I think this pedal will last me many years. The only inconvenient thing is the beater, it's great but a one-sided felt beater which makes it inappropriate for E-drums with a mesh bass drum pad. No big deal, I just put on a old two-sided Tama beater with a plastic side. Other than this, it's the perfect pedal for both acoustic and electric drums.
DW 3000 Bass Drum Pedal

Solid as a rock, heavy and sturdy. But all in a good way. It's not a clunky piece of hardware. Its all in aid of getting a solid footing on your kick. The beater is infinitely adjustable, as is the tension. All leading to a smooth action. One problem: perhaps the hexagonal bolt used in tension adjustment is a tiny bit flimsy. But perhaps this is just relatively speaking in an excellent piece of drum engineering. For €109, there is no argument, an excellent bargain that I'll be gigging with for years to come.
Yamaha FP-8500B Single Foot Pedal

Are you a drummer looking for a reliable, durable, first single pedal? Are you trying to find a pedal with a footboard that doesn't feel that short under your little over-sized foot? Well, you can stop here. With this product, YAMAHA has made high-end quality pedals accessible to those who don't have hundreds of euros to spend for a single pedal, yet maintaing all the features that have made this brand a standard in quality over the years. This pedal features a long footboard, long enough to accomodate bigger feet, is driven by a smooth, silent belt drive and gives the user the chance to adjust the beater angle. It has a right sided bass drum hoop clamp mechanism that allows for easy set up, with no need to reach under the pedal for the scope. The beater is the YAMAHA standard hard felt...

I really like this pedal, it's got a really smooth action and is simple to set up to suit your needs. I like it more than my 9000 with it's infinite positions (too complicated for me). I like that you just set up and go without thinking. Comes with a nice lightweight carry case. It's much lighter than the Pearl pedal cases but a little bulkier than the 9000 case which is my favourite for local gigging and transport. While it's top notch overall it does have some minor flaws for me (1) It doesn't come with a drum key or have a place to hold a drum key - all similar level pedals have this option so quite disappointed with that (2) I don't like the black material on the support posts, it looks cool but wears easily and after awhile looks a little tatty (3) I prefer the design of the...
Tama HP30 Bass Drum Pedal
Based on 3 reviews
Used on a Roland e-kit and a Pearl acoustic kit. I play mostly metal, punk and a bit of funk/electro. I bought it based on how it seemed to feel on video. 100% happy with it! It plays exactly how it seemed to play on videos: The pedal really follows the movement of my foot without trying to make me play a certain way. If I want to play hard, I push, the pedal does it. I want to play soft, I press gently, the pedal follows gently. I want to play fast doubles or triples, the pedal recovers nicely! I own a Power Cobra double pedal and much prefer the HP30. The Power Cobra wants me to play hard and if I don't, it just resists me (even at lower spring tensions). I've tried a Speed Cobra as well and it just pushed me to press the pedal very quickly. If I didn't, again, the pedal resisted me....
Trick Drums Dominator Single Pedal

I stumbled onto this pedal pure by research for a pedal with adjustable beater height. This was necessary for my 18" kick, because the beater on my classic 1st gen Iron Cobra just couldn't be lowered enough. I searched the net for the best pedals around. Then I came across this. The beater head can be lowered, but I was especially interested in the optional laser trigger add-on. Also from Trick, its their own design. I ordered the both, as a bit of a gamble, since the internet didn't provide too many examples about the trigger. To make a long story short: it works beautifully. For me. I installed the trigger add-on via an internet video manual, tightened it, and it worked immediately. No piezo vibration, just the laser checking movement..which means no more false triggers by...
Trick Drums Pro1-V Big Foot pedal

Ultra modern design and lighter than it looks. The overall adjustments on this pedal are brilliant. The clamp is great as there is no wing nut or anything to screw and it's super quick and easy to release. The foot plate and beater angle can be adjusted independent of each other. The beater too is independent of the shaft and can be adjusted at any position. The spring tension is hidden inside and such a great part of this design. A single dial turn is all that's required. There are no fiddly coils, washers or nuts. I love that the foot plate is smooth, there are no embossed nobs, lines, logos or toe guards to get in between your foot and the plate. The pedal has a beautiful touch and is so smooth and responsive to play. I've played both chain and strap drives for decades. This is my...
Trick Drums Pro1-V Single Pedal SB

It is, by far, the best drum pedal I ever had under my foot. Extremely responsive and precise action, very powerful and fast. Sometimes direct drive pedals ? and Trick Drums pedals in particular ? are associated with metal, but I don?t play metal and I think that this high precision machine can improve the drumming of players of any musical genre. Sometimes direct drive pedals are also said to be difficult to control ? being too nervous or too responsive ? but after a few years of using a Tama Iron Cobra HP900RN pedal I adapted to the feel of the Pro 1-V in less than half an hour. It has innovative design, it is sturdily built ? this is a pedal for a lifetime ? and provides all the adjustments needed to suit any drummer?s physical characteristics, playing style or music genre. The hoop...
Trick Drums Big Foot Black Widow Single
Based on 1 reviews
This pedal has only lived with me for a few weeks and instantly I felt more control, power, effortless playing, smoothness and of course speed control and I'm still getting used to the bigger footboard. I also have the double Pro V which is a delight, but this is a different beast, due to the increased power and speed. Its adjustability is very special and use of metals very clever. I would have given it a perfect but its heavier than I'd expected, is it even possible at this point in history to design such a solid drum pedal and make it light?? One final word its an absolute work of art and well worth the money. Excellent unique products Trick, for the decerning drummer to last a life time.
Trick Drums Black Widow Single Pedal SB

If I could give this pedal 100 stars, I would! This pedal has absolutely blown my mind. I will never go back to a chain drive pedal after using this Trick. The feel and response of this pedal are unlike anything I've ever experienced before. You have to try it for yourself to understand. This is, without a doubt, the best bass drum pedal in the world. It's made from aircraft-grade aluminum and titanium, so it's incredibly lightweight and durable. The spring tension is easy to adjust, and the pedal has four patents and a cult following for a reason. This pedal is incredibly responsive to even the slightest foot movements. If you're looking for a pedal that can help you play your fastest and most powerful bass drum beats, this is the one for you. Pros: - Smooth and...
