Beauty!!!!

Received this beauty as an anniversary gift from my wife and daughters. As I unpacked I was blown away by the beautiful workmanship. Excellent two tone paint.,sparking white pearl top and blue sparking back,nice looking bind ,even in to the “f”holes,anniversary logo….Tuners,works smooth,all the hardware is well matched.Fret work is perfect,frets are polished,with rounded ends. The guitar needed minor tuning of the neck and the attack, but for an instrument just taken out of the box, I think it is normal. Connected to the Bugera V22 tube amp,sounds nice, ringing, with sweetness, in the clean channel. On the overdrive, it has what I want Brian Setzer sound.The pickups are not “hot” as a Gibsons but they have that specific Gretsch tone that I like.Bigsby tremolo works well.Guitar stays in tune for a long time.Pleasant to play.Sounds and looks amazing Highest rating.Instrument worth the money.

fantastic hollowbody

Apart from the amazing look, unique because it's 140th anniversary, this guitar sounds awsome. Very full sound, never becomes screamy when you go jangly. Smooth in clean, defined in distortion and great with modulation and delay.
