Guild Starfire I Bass Vintage Walnut
Electric Bass

Latest User Reviews

Probably the most fun and inspiring bass I've ever played. Does anything from thumpy Motown to jazz to hard rock. The neck is slim and fast, the balancing is great, and the pickups are the most clear and detailed ones I've ever heard. The construction and hardware is great across the board.
The only two things that hold it back are the lack of shielding (the pickups have a tendency to buzz when you come near stage lights or keyboards) and the finish, which is too glossy for my liking. A slightly lighter shade of brown would have been nice too, as the finish appears close to black when not under direct light.
Otherwise an incredible bass for the money. Blows the Jack Casady and Viking out of the water at this price point. This is going to stay as my main bass for quite some time.
