Best budget harmonica I've ever tried

This is awesome! A good sounding, solid, sturdy, nice looking harmonica at such a low price that I can afford many different ones instead of just one!

I have tried many harmonicas, some expensive, some cheap, some new, some old, some wooden, some of metal. I have always been able to ascertain which price segment a particular instrument was in. Not so this time!

Delivered in a nice box, which can be used for storing the instrument between uses, is a good looking, good sounding piece of hardware. It looks like a more expensive instrument, and definitely plays like one. Maybe not top notch on timbre and possible playing modes, but for someone like me - who is not an expert harmonica player - this is exactly what I want!

It is easy to play, sounds good and does not cost a fortune. Nice!

the best budget harp you can get.

If you are looking for a competent harp on a budget this is for you! Free blowing, loud & soulful, these harps really compare with the far more expensive Lee Oskar, or Marine-band. Don't confuse these as just another budget brand. If you lose harps, or damage them easily, have a go with these. You will not be disappointed. RECOMMENDED!

Best choise if you don't have a lot of money, but a bit tough to handle. It's very sensitive in low and middle range and hard to play in high tones.

a good harmonica for beginners

I bought thes harmonica as a beginner and I really like it, its cheap so its good for trying. with the harmonica you can play blues on c so you can start improvising emediately.

Ok for the amazing price

Well, the harmonica looks good itself and the price is excellent. It sound good for the price but on higher octive the sound is not that clear anymore. But for this price it's a good instrument.

Impressive very impressive! well built, good sound and easy to service.

As a first Harp for a beginner, like myself, I cannot recommend this harp strongly enough. Certainly good enough to keep a beginners enthusiasm and as inexpensive as you could wish for a proper harmonica. the Harley Benton Blues Harp comes with a very sturdy plastic case, but is still compact enough to put in your coat pocket, so always handy to go 'jammin' with friends. Built to a quality not a price would appear to be the Harley Benton Way and this Harp is no exception.

Very soon I shall be looking to by other 'Keyed' harps and I can see no reason not to by Harley Benton again.

Not really up to standard,

These harmonicas are cheap and cheerful. Perfect if you want something you can throw about and not care if it gets damaged. You can bend on them (though its hard) and they sound ok, but really they don't compare to any of the more expensive ones. You get what you pay for in the end.

Unplayable

Sadly, this harmonica is a true disaster. It's not airtight, so bending is almost impossible. Some reeds are out of tune. On positive side - coverplates are nice and without sharp edges, so I can use them as spare parts.
