As described and depicted, but shipping hurt

Its a great guitar, sounds amazing even with stock strings. Really lets you shred and looks great. Unfortunately it arrived from shipping with one of the lower points already broken. This hasnt marred my belief that its a great buy and worth every penny.

I don't have too much knowledge, I'm an amateur but this guitar is awesome for me. I like groove and heavy metal and this guitar is exactly right guitar for this kind music.

Pretty good

This guitar is actually not bad at all. The frets needed a full level and crown but I was expecting that for the price. The stock pickups actually sound really decent, lacking in the low end but not bad. My main issue was the body on mine has a lot of uneven bevels. It looks like the body wasn't prepped before paint. Overall, I'd recommend it if you are planning on modding it.

Budget guitar , great compromise !

Is not so expensive , the shape is very attractive , the knobs and machine are very good in quality. The only stain in my opinion is the neck... but is an easy fix after all.

Great for beginners - evermore for metalhead .

First HB received

This is my second HB guitar bought, but first received, still waiting for the first one.

As expected it is a guitar configured for metal playing, it sounds really hard, tried clean but not the best sound because of its high outcome pick ups, I am an amateur player and it is very enough for me, very nice finished and looks great in my living room among my other guitars and piano, I adjusted height of strings and it will make me adjust octaves, but they were fine out of the box, happy with my new guitar, sounds and look terrific!!!

Overall a good guitar for start ups

Medium sound very good quallity on the wood,poor quallity on keys for tuning.Overall a very good guitar to start and learn with a great price.

Great base for custom project!

I bought this guitar knowing the first thing I will do is upgrading it.

Straight out of the box the guitar was not sounding great and playing on it was not that comfortable. But! After:

- changing the strings

- adjusting trussrod

- adjusting string height on bridge

- adjusting intonation on bridge

It sounded very well and the string action was okay!

I will change the keys, pots, nut and bridge so I can only say of the base of this guitar - neck and body is pretty great.

CONS:

- Guitar was not packed very safely and one of the 'horns' of the body was messed up in delivery - it's only about 1 cm of the lacquer though in the back so not a big deal,

- One of the tunning keys is little bit rusty in few places, but I will replace it nonetheless.

Nice looking/playing Axe

I knew going in that this was a "B-Stock" item, so I expected a slight blemish or two. I did NOT expect a large chip out of the paint and wood on one corner. This guitar should have been listed as damaged or "C-Stock", as the defect is rather large and obvious. That said, once cleaning, oiling of the fretboard, and setup was done; it sounds rather good overall. The looks on stage are killer! The weak point (again) are the pickups and possibly the tuners, but those are easy upgrades. Considering the cost of the guitar, I would not hesitate to spend a few hundred on upgrades. Overall, great offering by Harley Benton. Just need to get some wood filler and gloss enamel paint to repair the glaring defect.

I found the HB-20BK a great guitar

I really like this guitar, it did take me a bit longer than normal to get the strings down and get the Intonation set properly, for the price it's a very nice guitar and looks great as well, no flaws in it. Neck is a bit thicker than i expected. I like it alot!
