Cheap and reasonably cheerful

My last guitar purchase was the GS Mini which really surprised me. My daughter wanted something to learn on so I came across this one and decided to give it a try - at this price what could go wrong?

Well, a few things.

Out of the box this guitar tunes up fine, the finish is okay and it sounds pretty good, but it's not without its issues. The main problem is the fret edges - they're ridiculously bad and will need sanding down. The machine heads are pretty nasty and noisy, but that said, so far I haven't had any major tuning issues. I was more than a little amused to find a self-adhesive pick guard in the box. The guitar will need a lot of adjustments though, so if you're a novice it might be worth spending a little more on something a little better quality. The difference in quality between this guitar and the HB GS Mini is huge for the sake of forty bucks, plus you get a gig bag with the Mini.

Looks Beautiful, Sounds even better!

File those frets, and oil the fretboard. Down the road i'll probably change the tuners, but for $60, I'm amazed at the sound and quality.

Good guitar for it's price

The main thing is that this guitar sounds and sounds really great for it's price! I didn't expect such sound for < 100$ instrument.

Guitar is comfortable to play, but there is something with tuners plastic quality - there are some sharpness, but I think this is very minor issue, and actually the only one issue I found.

I can say that it's a good option for beginners or for those who's main guitar is far away and cheap alternative is needed.

Preinstalled strings are surprisingly durable. I'm not playing often, but they still sound good after several months, so Martin set is waiting for it's time.

Value for money!

I got this guitar for my girlfriend as a starting guitar. I am very satisfied with the quality. Very good sound and very good fretwork. Usually on cheap guitars the frets sting your fingers. Not on this one. I am going to buy one for me but with the pickup system. Don't think about it. Buy it!

A good, decent option, price, quality. The only thing is to put the strings brighter. That's what I did over time. But this is for an amateur. I arrived in Russia in 1 week. It's very fast. It was not usual to have a neck in the form of "C" . Unusual for such a building. In general, everything is good! Thank you, I wish prosperity to your brand!

Perfect for this price!

When I moved to Norway for a higher degree, I couldn't find a proper guitar. Then I ordered this product, and it is amazing. Great sound with decent fret board. Highly recommended.

Great for Beginners or as Spare Instrument

Another very well accomplished Harley Benton Product.

Ordered this on April 2020 (I didnt have my main guitar with me on the occasion), and have been having fun with it since then.

Well build budget guitar, which will certanly please beginners and/or those who need a spare instrument.

Perfect for beginners

This is a second guitar I bought and for this price it is unbeatable as a beginners guitar. I play it daily and it serves it purpose. It is nice and light and what I also really like is that the action is pretty decent.
