I bought this bass with the intention of doing some folkier stuff with my band and have been really pleased with it. The sound is nice and warm and it is a good volume for an acoustic bass when not plugged in. The amplified sound is also good and the fishman tuner and equaliser works well. I was torn between the natural finish and the black gloss but am happy with my decision. The finish on my instrument is really good.

This instrument is now the one I am most likely to pick up when I have a few spare minutes to practice. Although it has a big body, it is still comfortable to play and although the nect is slightly chunkier than my electric basses, not enough to put you off. An instrument that I am really pleased with an play every day.
