Quality Issues

Guitar player for 35+ years. The string to fret gap was delivered very high, neck truss rod not set correctly, Neck board very dry, saddle is made of plastic, tuner knobs are made of plastic, nut is made of plastic, string pegs are made of plastic. Guitar tone is dull and not very loud, tone is not crisp, Some string tuners skip when trying to fine tune. On board tuner mechanism under saddle was covered in paint causing diminished tone from strings through saddle. Onboard tuner not very accurate, went back to using 20 year old tuner to fine tune. Suggest replacing saddle and nut with standard bone saddle and nut to improve resonation / sustain, suggest removing the paint covering the brass onboard tuner mechanism under saddle, suggest replacing tuners with upgraded chrome tuners to allow accurate tuning or strings. Suggest using very high gage phosphor bronze strings .013-.056 to compensate for poor resonation / sustain. Body of guitar looks nice but noticed some glue starvation where neck joins body. Black paint on tuner pegs where strings contact shows wear after a couple string changes.
