Tough Strings

Was suffering from a 3rd string breakage after only 7 days playing due to frequent tuning changes. Bought these string as a cheap substitute for my regular expensive strings. Delighted to find that these last weeks longer and although the loss in tonal quality is present, it is only slight. Great value strings.

Great Price

Why would youpay 3 times the price when you can get these

Decent strings

These are good copies of famous brand, for a very modest price, definitely worth it, the coat is very thin, and I would change for a new set every two months. I use them when I have a lot of tension testings with my guitars and mandolins.

Great on a Martin D28

Just put on these in the break of a concert on a Martin D28 after a string was broken.

Sound is crisp and well articulated with some highs that might disturb some.

Tuning stability was OK after a few songs.

Causes some intonation problems in the first frets.

Amazing value for money

I use these strings for D standard tuning on my acoustic, I can even go to C with them and they'll still have decent tension.

What I love is that even the plain steel strings are coated. The strings feel a bit sticky but it doesn't affect playability really.

Compared to Elixir strings, which cost 3 times more, these strings aren't that much worse. I'd record with these strings, they don't feel cheap at all.

Great strings for the price!

As I already said these are great COATED strings for this price. Just look for the price of Elixir strings, and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I like their tone, and feel....and the price :)

Reccomended!

Super value

May not be elixirs or Daddario, but at a gig when you break your coated strings these pack as come in handy. I buy loads of these as back ups to the high end strings.

Fantastic strings at a ridiculously low price!

I bought these as I love the tone of brand new strings on acoustic guitars and assumed these would keep that tone longer than standard strings and I was not disappointed.

In my experience these keep the new string tone for about 3x as long as traditional strings, they also intonate and play well.

Only slight negative is that they have a slightly sticky feel to them (which I imagine is the coating) but this isn't enough to put me off them.

A great product which I will continue to purchase in quantity.
