This was a now or never kind of purchase. I'm not professional but I had the money and been admiring the RG550 since I was teenager, so I went for it. Pros: Walnut reinforced super wizard neck is the thinnest neck you'll find and a super flat radius. Built for speed but a nice variety of tones make it very versatile. Excellent build quality. This feels like a solid, well-crafted instrument. Cons: True to the original it has the square neck joint. Even the newer, cheaper Ibanez models provide a better cut out and improved high fret access. But it is a re-issue so they can be forgiven. A re-issue of the late 80s/early 90s shred machine, the so-called "poor man's" JEM, this is very faithful to the original. More than that, there is a wide enough variety of tones, especially the...

Even though it's the most affordable model of the PRS family, this beauty is near perfect. I bought it as an upgrade over my old strat clone and was immediately amazed by the handling, the design and its awesome sound. Perfect for beginners and hobbyist but even seasoned players can find it appealing. What's in the package: The guitar came fully set up from the factory, instantly playable after unwrapping and tuning. In the package you can also find a little tool set for adjustments and the tremolo arm. Handling: Very comfortable to play, I really like the wide-thin neck profile and for me the factory setup was just perfect with nice low action. Comes with .009-.042 gauge D'Addario XL strings, easy to bend and sounds nice with a lot of treble. Sound: Well what can I say, I'm really...

I am completely astonished by the quality of this guitar. I've been watching video after video about this guitar, both the looks and the sound made fall in love with it. I decided to give it a try and bought it.. it's beautiful. The finish is flawless and looks even brighter in person, the neck is unbelievably smooth, perfect fretwork, the bridge can sustain millions of divebombs without going out of tune, the pickups are just amazing and super versatile like no other. It's easily the best guitar ever in my opinion, you can play slow blues or go absolutely crazy with shredding and it will ALWAYS feel right. No matter what you play, this guitar is for you. 10/10

I have played guitar for about ten years and have gone through various models and goals with my playing. I have own/borrowed several guitars for band rehearsal, gigs (between 10 to 500 people) or just for practicing to see what i like. I am very picky, and have a hard time settling for a specific type of guitar that feels "off" in the slightest way and therefore switch a lot. Then I bought this. The quality of this guitar is what first impressed me. Everything from the tuning stability, to the knobs are all crafted with care. I normally get sweaty hands during a gig, and the knobs and five-way switch are all extremely easy to grip and use regardless. One downside I can find is the trem bar, which can be quite difficult to put in, and sometimes becomes a bit clunky or rough to...

I've been looking for a neck-through RG with fixed bridge around 400 EUR for quite some time and finally it arrived! The guitar itself is really solid and easy to play thanks to the fantastic Wizard III neck. It's a finely polished 5-piece satin neck so you can play fast, it won't be tacky easily. Another thing to mention about the neck is its fretboard. It's made of Jatoba wood which is much harder than rosewood so in theory it'd last much longer too and won't be that affective to scratches which is a big plus. I can confirm that it stays in tune even for several weeks among the same environmental circumstances (humidity, temperature) if you use it every day - just like I did. I don't know how much it's caused by the neck-through design or the used materials but it works very...

For quick reference, I love this guitar and would highly recommend to anyone who plays electric guitar. I purchased this with the intention of using as a "studio guitar". I mostly play heavy metal and my style typically includes lots of galloping riffs and soloing. Guitar is well made, all hardware is installed correctly and the set up is excellent. No blemishes in the finish whatsoever (I checked every inch, all along the bindings, inlays etc.) and the appearances are unparalleled. The see through black finish is exceptionally beautiful both on the quilted maple top and on the mahogany body. Surprisingly lightweight for a mahogany body. Excellent playability, very comfortable to play both sitting and standing. Neck has an awesome feel and is quite thin, which may put some...
Fender Jim Root Stratocaster EB BK

Here are my short remarks: * I bought this Jim Root Stratocaster but I also have the Harley Benton HH 20 mock-up which visually look very similar. In real life they are completely different. The Jim Root guitar is a lot heavier (literally and figuratively - it must be at least 500g heavier), its neck is a lot thinner/faster, and while played acoustically it does not sound like plastic. What I find interesting is that the guitar absorbs the string vibrations very easily (it must be the mahogany body) since it is very quiet when played acoustically. * My copy of this particular Jim Root stratocaster has one visual flaw though - the maple neck has one small dark brown branch spot on it which makes it look a bit cheapish, I rarely see branch spots on even on the Squiers; * I almost bought...

I already have the Vintera 50's Mod Telecaster and love it! Because of it I decided to try the Strat and again, totally happy with it! I did try the Vintera 60's Strat but didnt like it (pickups too hot and too roto-like when overdriven, and neck too thin). Also tried the Player Series Strat and didnt like it (neck too thin and pickups way too hot). Finally got my hand on this SFG Vintera 50's Strat and everything about it was great. Neck is a bit thicker, soft V and feels lovely. Nut slots needed a bit sanding to remove the sitar sound on e and b strings, but generally well cut nut. Frets are well leveled and well finished. All hardware works well. The whole guitar was built and assembled well! The weight is 3.4kg , very light and well balanced. The pickups needed lowering to remove...

I just received mine a few days ago, as a birthday gift from my wife. I was after the finish at first, but was surprised how comfortable its neck feels. There are no sharp frets, and finish imperfections. It was supposedly a modding guitar, but I don't think it is worth upgrading at this moment. The nut is properly slotted, although material is not listed in the specs, I am not seeing a reason to replace it. It holds well in tune and the pickups sound great too. If you are looking for an inexpensive yet stunning guitar, you can never go wrong with this one

Sorry if i am pretty late to do a feedback about my Purchase of an Harley Benton HSS Electric Guitar done on May 14th, 2024. In fact, it is for the first time that i go with an electric guitar... So i am an "Absolute Beginner" with her, if i may say, and so is it very difficult for me to say a feedback. The Guitar was received directly at the UPS Front Desk on Tuesday 21/05/2024 in France. This Harley Benton HSS Electric Guitar is impeccable. After almost 3 weeks of getting along with this Harley Benton HSS Electric Guitar, i am growing in some new stuff with her. And that is very positive i believe. Many Thanks, Best Regards,
