I was shopping for a small body acoustic and although I had a higher budget I was still drawn to this for it's features, looks and top reviews and I am not disappointed. I have spent more on other brands in the past and been less impressed. To my ear,it is a much better instrument than the ibanez guitar it replaced in my collection. The tone is less deep than a full size acoustic but I am willing to make this trade-off as I prefer the ergonomics and looks af this smaller body. It does not sound 'muddy' like many cheap / mid-range acoustic guiatars but rather it sings with impressive clarity of tone. Intonation is spot-on all the down the neck and action nicely set up. Very satisfied - glad I didn't send more - no need!

Well.. I pulled the trigger on this guitar only by watching videos and reading recommendations... and that was lucky shot! I'm really happy with overall quality and how nice it looks like! The sound is warm and deep, has this punchy character as well. Really easy and fun to play! The scale of the neck and the action of the strings do not require even the slightest adjustment from my perspective.. It also holds the tuning perfectly despite stronger pulls. I didn't check her in live situation, but recorded the sound in two studio mics.. I already know it does the job. It looks awesome on the pictures, but in really... gorgeous! Can't take my eyes off it, shame I can't hang it on the wall and look at every day just because of humidity in my house.. I recommend it with a clear conscience,...

The last couple of years I tried a lot of different acoustic guitars, but I never really fell in love with one. There Always seemed to be something missing on all of them (epihone/Sigma). Kind of lost hope in finding a good fun acoustic guitar. After hearing a lot of good talk about the Harley Bentons I thought, what the hell, let's try one. And A am I glad I did. The guitar sounds really good. Very powerfull on single notes with the convenience of a smaller body than a dreadnought. Was it perfect on arrival? No, Action was way too high at the 12th fret. But because it was so cheap, I decided to lower the action on an acoustic guitar for the first time by myself. And now it plays like a dream. Is it better than a Martin: Probably not, but I played acoustics that were 3 times as expensive...

Ok, first off I love this guitar. In the early 90's I went into Andy's guitar shop, London, and tried a Martin 150th anniversary all mahogany 000-15 (or 00) and a '68 Gibson hummingbird. Both gorgeous guitars, the Martin was the 2nd best acoustic I've played (the best being a 60's Martin 00/000 made with Brazilian rosewood and spruce or cedar top). I loved it but it was £950, which I didn't have back then - to put that into context the '68 hummingbird was £100 cheaper. Fast forward to now and Martin had reissued the all mahogany 000-15s a few years ago, which I didn't realise - at a bargaintastic £1200. Post Brexit vote however and they are now £1500 or more, due to our devalued currency and exchange rate. So while I'm waiting for Sterling to improve, I...

I bought this acoustic because My previous acoustic left alot to be desired. This acoustic is just absolutely perfect for me. Pros: comfort: This guitar is about 4 inches thick which for me personally is the perfect middle ground for comfort and projection. its not so thick i cant play it (like some concert sizes and dreadnaughts ive played) but its not so thin that it doesnt project and sound like an acoustic. Finish: The Vintage sunburst looks absolutely gorgeous and catches the eye while remaining subtle. Id describe the texture as a satin closed pore, it feels silky smooth to run your hands across but not to the extent of leaving prints everywhere. the neck texture is slick but not glossy. Action: The action is perfect. the strings almost rest on the frets and require almost no...

This is a £175 guitar made of solid wood, which sounds fantastic and is beautifully constructed. Any criticisms at this price point are moot and I only include them to offer my limited advice to any new players thinking of buying this. I wish when I first started playing guitar that instruments of this quality were available for this price! I bought this as a present for somebody who is learning to play, and it required a very small amount of maintenance (he could have easily done this himself with the help of google and youtube). The frets were rough and needed polishing (I use those fret rubbers). The truss rod was loose when shipped so over the course of a day I brought it to tension and made sure the neck was straight. The nut was cut a little high (but this is a really small...

I actually ordered this guitar by mistake, but I liked it so much that I decided to keep it. Firstly, you should know that I’m no guitar expert. I have only been playing for two years, so I’m not very far into my guitar journey. But, I have a few other guitars (all Epiphone) to compare it to. The finish on this guitar is beautiful. I like the matte look rather than the gloss as it doesn’t make with fingerprints so easily, Everything is well done and well put together, except that the strap pin at the base of the guitar is missing (I’m assured one is on the way to me). The frets are clean and tidy and out of the box the action was just about perfect. Sound wise, this is a mini jumbo, so a little quieter than my dreadnaught, but I like that as it keeps my wife...

I have several acoustics, mostly Canadian like Seagull, Simon & Patrick, La Patrie, Faith, Wasburn but have had many more including Martins, Taylors etc. I think right out of the box and tuned up this is a beaut. I nearly bought the guitar it is a copy of a few years ago while working in a music shop but can't remember why I didn't so when I saw the HB one I decided to give it a try with the intention of stringing it for Nashville tuning, but after my initial test I may leave the tuning as is and even get another one of these for nashville tuning as it is a lovely player and I can see myself gigging it a lot. I had no doubt the quality would be good as I bought a Harley Benton PRS 24 electric copy in green a while back and though it need fret dressing and setup it plays as good if...
