Nice guitar

I'm not an acoustic player but after watching many reviews of this guitar, I decided to add one to my collection of Harley Benton's. I was not disappointed, the guitar came well set up and sounded beautiful. Very happy with my purchase

Great Guitar

When I got the guitar there were some minor issues with it which were all OK as it did not affect playability, and I received a small refund for it. However when I was changing the strings I noticed a small crack in the fretboard, which doesn't affect playability but if I really dig into that fret I can feel it a bit.

ALL and ALL, I would buy it again.

Thanks.

Great guitar with remarkbly good sound but i ran into some problems with the bridge and it actually broke. The customer center were great and helped med right away.

Perfectly great!!!

Harley Benton CLD-41SE WN is one of the most expensive acoustic guitars on their list, therefore we all expect the best of the brand applied here and that's exactly what I got! The instrument came flawless, spotless even for those with a more picky approach and criteria would be surprised by this model. Is worth to mention that the item arrived in a very reasonable time and in perfect condition. Would definitely recommend to all potential buyers!

Amazing quality/price !!!

The quality of this guitar is unbelievably good for the price! I have a Martin OM-45 that cost me 28 times more than this !!! This HB CLD-41 SE WN is a fine piece of craftsmanship. Out of the box this guitar feels, plays, sounds, and looks too good to be true. I absolutely love it. Neck is straight and feels very comfortable: Low action, no buzzing, perfect intonation, stays in tune and everything feels solid and well made and even has a decent basic Fishman preamp !!! The only drawback for me is that to achieve this quality price it has to be built in China! If you like to play guitar and don't want to spend a lot of money this is the guitar for you. you will not regret it !

Quality of much more expensive guitars!

This guitar feels like a much more expensive guitar than it is and that's a fact. Everything about it is top notch, from the fretboard to finish and build quality. I really recommend getting your hands on this instrument. You won't regret it.

Amazing acoustic guitar

I bought this as my first ever acoustic, and I gotta say I'm deeply impressed. It came perfectly set up with no issues whatsoever. Plays great and sounds very nice and warm.

Best Thing Ever

This is one impressive guitar! I was a little worried at first as it seems too good to be true and I've been looking to get an acoustic guitar for a while. But, I just got it today and I was blown away

The height of the strings is set up pretty decently. The intonation is superb. And on top of all, it sounds really good! For this price, it's super impressive. It feels and plays amazing! I'm glad that I bought it

Well done Harley Benton!

You sure this is not a Martin?

I love this guitar! I have replaced the pegs with brass ones for more brightness, and I'm experimenting with different string brands and gauges. It's beautiful a n sounds amazing.

Awesome acoustic for the price

This is an excellent acoustic for the price! I have a cheap Ovation Celebrity I bought 15 years ago that doesn't sound as good, and yet it costed me more. This has a very nice projection and a good balance of attack/brightness with the warmth of the side woods (I know, it's subjective). Only thing I don't like about it is the tuners.

More than I expected

Looked like a nice guitar. Listened to the audio samples. I figured for the price, what should my expectations really be. So first: out of the box.

The Bad: if you look at the pick guard in a certain way you can see scratches. No biggie! Action was really High. Biggie!

The good: The wood was flawless. Inlays were beautiful. Had it set up. Now I've lived with it for a couple weeks.

Conclusion: This is a real nice guitar. Exceeds my expectations. I play it more than my Martin.

Update: So I have been using this guitar for several months now. Using 12 gauge strings, I lowered the tuning by 1/2 step. This changed everything. This has become my favorite guitar. I like it better than my Martins, Gibsons, Fenders and Taylors.

Update: I've lived with this guitar for a year now. Took a while to get it to where I wanted it. Had to change the saddle several times, but I finally found the sweet spot. The holes for the pins should be a little farther back (for future reference to the Luthiers). 2 of the tuning keys went south. Replaced them with Gotoh MLB3-G. Chrome Looks bitchin'! Nicer than the gold.

I still really like this guitar. I play it everyday. Haven't touched the Martin .

Brilliant!

I have several Harley Benton guitars (XT 22, CST 24, SC550, TE 52, TE 20 and a GS-Travel-E Mahogany) but this is by far the best I've bought so far. Once I had changed the strings it was perfect. The tone is exactly what I'm after, lovely bass and crisp middles. We have an entry level Martin and this is it's equal! Buy one now, you will not regret it.

Little adjustment with action and bam ! great to play

It wasn't totally necessary but i installed a new bone nut and saddle and ebony saddle pins(it already has bone nut and saddle).

I did think the action was high at the 12th fret . Perfect at the nut so i adjusted truss rod a little and sanded down the bone saddle quite a bit. the electric fishman pickup wire sits beneath the saddle so it tends to raise the height of saddle and action of string for 12th fret and beyond.

I sanded bone saddle a good bit to get the desired 2mm action and she plays way better and actually sounds nicer. Make no mistake this is a bargain for the price and craftsmanship as so many are saying.

My only wish is ;

Make the guitar in gloss back and sides!

Make the guitar have the abalone up the sides of the base neck near sound hole like the true martin d45!

Great guitar tho 10/10 for price

Buy it while they're still being made!

I've been using this guitar for a while now (home and studio use). I think that this guitar is very underrated!

First of all; Sound is very rich, I use it to record all of my acoustic guitar parts.

Quality superb; I have no complaints here. Neck is straight, there is no buzzing, everything feels solid & well made. Tuners are great, I play a lot and I rarely feel the need to tune it (maybe once per week!), finish is as smooth as it can get.

I think that if you're in need of an acoustic guitar and don't want to spend thousands then this is the guitar to get.

Close to my Martins

I have two Martin guitars and I bought this as I don?t want all my clients in the studio to use my gems all the time. I?m starting to wonder if I will use this more myself. Its got a great sound, it looks great, tuners are really good and it comes with a fishman mic in it. (!)

I would compare this to any guitar at least up to 800 euros. And this was about 350 euros with taxes into Norway.

The only thing I found was that the bridge was setup to high and I had to take it down 3 millimeters. I took me 5 minutes.

The finish is quite remarkable for a guitar at this price and you CANNOT go wrong.

Awesome guitar.

I am by no means a guitar expert but I can tell a good product when I see one. It looks good, it sounds good and it feels good. Working as a quality assurance inspector for the last 12 years I tend to look harder at finished products then others do. I could only find two very minor flaws in the wood. But to see them you have to be looking hard and the light has to be just right. The Abalone body binding, Mother of Pearl fretboard inlays and the Gold plated tuners make the guitar look way more expensive than it is. I own nine guitars right now but when I buy number ten it may well be this same guitar. I am very impressed with the product I received for the money I spent. I would recommend this guitar to anyone.
