Value for money?...........Well yes.
At £167 who could complain. Its playable straight out of the box. Fit and finish looks good. Surprisingly lightweight which is great for those dodgy backs and the Roswell P90 is also surprisingly good. Nice to see ALPHA potentiometers fitted as well. For the more experienced player though a few small adjustments and upgrades benefit. I fitted a bone nut and cut slots accordingly. Lowered the action and found a couple of dead spots but nothing a quick fret level on a couple of frets to resolve. String heights were slightly uneven but again a quick nut file to the saddles sorted that. A tweak on the truss rod and what are we left with?...A very playable guitar which looks and sounds great. Will be taking it gigging next month and I am confident it will hold its own. At this price whats not to like!
Harley Benton DC-60 cherry
Great guitar. Superb value for money. Arrived well packaged and in good time. The P90 sounds great and the action and intonation are spot on.
pleasantly snarky
put some lights (.08-.42) on it and gave it a proper setup (needed a little neck relief), a super great value, the Roswell P90 sounds fantastic and the finish on these is unreal.
