Outstanding for the price

spend a whole afternoon to get the guitar assembled. learned to appreciate the craftsmanship, guitar building is really delicate. the guitar built-up is absolutely playable, much better than I expected. only some minor issues, nut buzzing on high e string, but is easily fixed by tapping the nut. the guitar looks nicer than the pictures. I like the bare wood look. the wood is polished. it's unreal to got a playable guitar under 100, all the hardwares...

Superb Strat

I’ve just finished building this one as a present for a very dear friend. The quality is absolutely amazing, the build was easy and the tone is excellent. I can highly recommend this kit.

Fantastic value for a quality product

It was fun putting it together and no difficulties - the hardest part was getting the wiring to squeeze in under the pickups. It plays brilliantly well and pretty much just as good as my Fender Strat! Would be very happy to use it for gigs.

nice kit

Body is 2 pieces (which is good), different texture. Very smooth on the surface but shows tools marks on all the curves. Very nice smooth neck, covered by matte lacquer (which is a problem as you need to cut the head). Electronics is average, swapped the pickups. Overall very good for the price

Great fun

Bought this out of curiosity but it turned out to be great fun. It can be as simple or as complex a project as you like. Putting the guitar together is very simple. Setting it up can be achieved with a quick youtube tutorial for anyone not familiar with that process. Complexity comes from deciding how far you want to go with the finish/modifications. The wood has some sealant on it so it can be ready to go with no modification if that’s what you’re looking for. I went down a rabbit hole of learning how to paint and finish a guitar from bare wood but it was a good learning opportunity. For me the trickiest part was cutting and finishing the headstock to my liking but it can be done well. The hardware is as you would expect from the price but solid in terms of sound and function. If I could change anything I would like some better quality tuners but at this price point they are perfectly acceptable. Some small imperfections in where the holes were drilled on the headstock for the tuner screws - they weren’t perfectly aligned; a minor issue in the scheme of things. Frets needed to be polished prior to use but again no big deal really, easily sorted. Overall a fun project and would recommend for any guitar enthusiast who would like to learn more about the instrument they play while getting to build one to their own liking.

Amazing for the money

I got this kit as a project guitar and I have to say I had low expectations. That is until it arrived and i assembled it to hear how it sounds. Unbelievable I couldnt believe that was a 90 euro instrument. The neck is smooth but just a tad dry (lemon oil fixed this issue) and the hardware is what you could expect (thin tremolo block, mediocre tuners ect).

All around great purchase

Cheers Harley Benton!
