Electric Ukulele

In love <3
Iâm just starting in my uke journey and I wanted something I could play silently⦠sometimes sound overwhelms me and this is just what I needed to play at my volume :)
The sound of an era
Amazing how such small little instrument can create such a richness as a mesmerizing state of being. it is a inspiring little instrument and when hooked on my big fuzz it is more amazing and it does not get weird, boring but breaks open a new world!
Easy to play
Easy to control
Still very happy with after 2 years and a half!
I forgot to leave a review for this great ukulele, which I bought in October 2020 (now it's March 2023).
I bought it for my online lessons and I am very happy with it.
I've recently used it in this duet with my student Elena.
Bought for the father-in-law. He loves it as he can now compete with the guitar's playing through practice amps.
Amazing Fun
Disclaimer - I've only been playing for about 6 months so am no expert. This is my first electric instrument.
This ukulele is super fun, is very solid and produces a nice range of sounds through a suitable amp. Can be played like a traditional uke or be used to rock out. Nice to be able to play with headphones on to avoid disturbing others. The action is also very pleasing and is much easier to play than the other standard ukes I own (and actually led me to adjust those once I realised how much easier it is to play barre chords on this thing!).
It also looks lovely.
Very happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone interested in a purely electric uke.
Not bad but not great
I'm an intermediate level uke player and got this for fun and so I can strum at night without disturbing the family.
Pros
Looks really nice
has aux in, headphone socket and traditional 1/4" jack.
Edit! I've had it a few weeks now and a new Corona Virus Lockdown positive is that it's good for Zoom sessions with others.
You can run the computer audio into your uke and then listen to the uke and the computer audio via headphones. Doing this gives you separate control over the volume of both the Zoom session and your uke so you can get a nice mix.
Cons
Action is very high. Bridge is too high for my taste.
The 'A' string is a bit too close to edge of neck so (my) fingers can slip off - tends to happen when doing 'pull-offs'.
The 'A' string is also a bit quiet when 'amped'. I've heard people online suggest that this can happen if the pickup is notbe lined up well - or just not a great pick-up.
For £100 it's OK but nothing to get too excited about.
Superb little uke!
I've wanted a ukulele for a good while now but didn't want to spend a fortune on one. I'm a guitarist/bassist of about 25 years' experience, so I can generally pick up stringed instruments and play them without bother, and this little gem was no different - it's solid, sounds great even acoustically (albeit quieter than an acoustic uke), has a great action and feel, plugs in and records well, and you can plug in headphones to disappear off into your own ukulele-filled audio world. Would highly recommend this instrument.
Amazing Ukulele for the price
It's a beautiful good sounding electric ukulele.
Works great for quiet practising with headphones plugged in.
The finish could have been better but you could not ask more for the price
Nice
Though it will likely need a fair amount of setting up to be comfortable, this instrument performs very well. Personally, I find the neck a bit flat...sort of Les Paul/Gibson-style...but many will find this preferable.
I placed a small slither of thin wood under the neck attachment plate as well lowered the bridge-action. If you are up to some small jobs...or want to start simple adjustment, this solid-body instrument is a good place...but remember, 'modding' means no returning the product afterwards.
By the way...don't you find it odd that this company seems to work better than others on so many levels...it is beyond me why or how they get things right in customer service where others fail?
Good luck with your purchases...good return policy if things don't work out.
Quite nice instrument
I am surprised with the quality of sound from the strings. It is pleasant enjoying the Uke practice every night in my apartment without interfering with my neighbors' sleeping.
The only thing that makes me annoyed is that there's a white noise from the earphone jack in all range of the volume setting. I tried with 4 different types of headphones and earphones but I could not cancel the noise.
I am not sure if it is the normal phenomenon of every electric instrument. I hope I could have a solution for the earphone noise.
I have not tried it with an amplifier yet, therefore hopefully there might be better sound with plugging in.
