Good build, great neck, fun to play

I got this guitar a year ago to add a Floyd Rose equipped guitar to my collection. It's a really cool axe, quality built all round. And most importantly the neck is amazing (and thanks to the roasted maple it also looks the part) and the guitar is just a joy to play. The only minor cosmetic issue about the finish would be the color used on the (otherwise fine looking) flame top leaked into the binding in several really small spots. Also the pickups seem a little tilted by like two milimeters and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to fix it without dismounting them. But I'm just nitpicking here. The hardware is super solid and even though it took me a bit to get used to the Floyd Rose I didn't have any problems using the guitar or setting it up. The sound is fine even though it's nothing spectacular, also the split coil sounds are a bit underwhelming but that seems to be the issue with most if not all split coilable pickups I've played and they do add to the tonal variety and can get the sound a closer to a single coil so mission accomplished.

Overall the guitar is excellent value for money and fun to play even unplugged thanks to the neck and resonant body. I'm considering upgrading the pickups some time in the future but I might just end up keeping them as they are as there's nothing wrong with them.

Awesome guitar for the price

The guitar came with nearly perfect setup. Veneer is not washed up and looks good. Only complaint is that my neck is not as flamed as in the pics (theres maybe a small flame in the middle of the neck and thats it), but the fretboard is flamed. Frets are OK. They are not polished but its an easy fix. All in all a great instrument, especially for the price.

The fusion iii fr is a beautiful piece. Nice finish with great reflection. Great quality and responsive Floyd rose trem system with great tuning stability ( even tearing that thing up and down ). Single coil is a little lackluster, and it might have something to do with the budget pickups, but they still sound better than average (but still not top of the line). QC could have been better too as 4th and 5th fret buzzed bad due to bad crowning. Fixed in 10 minutes. After some tuning up, Overall great guitar for the money especially considered the value of parts u get on this.

The Floyd rose and the unpainted body are worth this much! Get it!!
