Stellar guitar

I personally love this guitar, the setup was really well done out of the box all things considered and the song of the pickups both in humbucker and single coil mode were phenomenal the only issue came when i began down tuning i had to re-intonate the strings which became difficult as the screw quickly became stripped despite me using the tools that came with the guitar which leads to my only critique being that i wish it came with an ST style tremolo instead, aside from that though it’s a great guitar which after a quick bridge swap has been a wonder to play and will definitely be a staple in my collection if not my go to guitar

Great bang for your buck

Got this for €260 (think the white one was recently at €222) and that is insane value for money. It's so enjoyable to pickup and play, I have a €1000 Charvel Pro mod San Dimas and this guitar is very comparable, not as good but not far off! For heavy distortion at loud volumes the roswells are a tad harsh but they can be tamed. Colour looks like something out of my Granny's bathroom, I'll be changing that at some stage, get the white!

Removing review as I have to return it.

Can’t see I have an option to delete the review entirely. Issue with anchor for tremolo being pulled sideways into body.

Excellent Guitar but needs a little setup

Overall you would hard pressed to find another guitar with locking tuners, Wilkinson trem, and roasted maple neck anywhere close to this price. That being said there were a couple of downsides. The fret ends are dressed very well but the frets weren't polished at all. The intonation is good enough, not perfect. The bridge pickup was tilted towards the bridge. I took it out to find that the foam block and spring were sitting on the wire from the neck pickup causing the awkward angle. Easily fixed, but something that should have been caught before sending out.

On the upside, the neck feels great! The trem, nut, and locking tuners all work together to create excellent tuning stability. A fresh set of strings and this thing sings! The action came set right where I like it. It could possibly go a little bit lower and still be OK, but it's fine for me.

Overall, I am very pleased with this guitar despite a couple of minor issues. I'll probably buy another HB based on my experience with this.

Excellent for this price

Pros

This price already come with very nice hardware and a roasted maple neck. And the SS frets work not bad, better than most of the under 1K budget guitars.

Cons

The backplate and cover edge can be sand it smoother.
