HESU Wizard W112 Standard Cab BK

I absolutely love the build, feel, size, and sound of this thing. It's an oversized box for a 1x12", so it doesn't sound boxy. It's open and room-filling, the bass is tight and not flabby. Its size is perfect to fit an EVH 5150 50 W on top — and I imagine many other "mid-sized" tube amps. The speaker is aggressive, bitey, and singing and doesn't have that annoying sizzle in the high end that some popular metal speakers have. Oh yes, this is for metal. Maybe it works for bluegrass, but I wouldn't know.
Harley Benton G112Plus Greenback

The quality is great The sound is amazing. (Which you would expect from a celestion greenback) The size is nice. . . . I went with greenback becouse i don't like how muffled creambacks sound. Some like that bassier sound but this is for me the best blend of vintage v30 (which are relatively bright with lots of presence) and creamback (dark and muffled sound with almost no presence) Overall, i recomend the product, top quality. If there was some other brand making exact same cabs, they would go for at least double the price.
Harley Benton G112Plus Creamback
Based on 2 reviews
I decided to switch to tube amps at home and buy a lunchbox head and a 1x12 cabinet. I spent a long time choosing a speaker â watched all the YouTube videos on the topic, and decided on the Creamback M. I used to have 2x12 Greenback and 4x12 Vintage 30 cabinets. The Creamback M in my opinion is the best of both worlds â it doesn't have than annoying upper midrange on hi-gain of the Greenback which I hate, and isn't as harsh as the V30. At low apartment/bedroom volumes, it sounds good to me â full and even, quite a versatile speaker, good for both high-gain and clean tones. Choosing the cabinet on the other hand didn't take long â the price was the main attraction ð Unlike major brands that charge more than half the price for the box itself than the cost of the...
Orange PPC112

This cab was purchased to become a companion to my Orange Dark Terror. As I received the cab I was really impressed with the build quality. The cab weighs about 15 kg and is very sturdy and well put together. When I plugged this speaker in I was really disappointed and immediately wanted to go back to my old speaker. The speaker had really harsh highs and was kind of nasally in the mids (well, it has a Vintage 30 in it, it's supposed to be quite middy) and the sound character was constantly changing as I was playing. But don't let this deceive you and write the cab off as a piece of garbage. If you read online about guitar speakers (especially new ones) you'll read about something called speaker "break in". My previous cab was about 10 years old (long broken in) and I really...
Headrush FRFR-112 Active Monitor
Based on 12 reviews
With the release of outstanding and flexible modelling amps like the Fractal Audio AxeFX and Line6 Helix, the need for super-loud valve amplifiers is rapidly diminishing. However, if you don't want to record directly, use desktop monitors/headphones or run straight to a PA for live use, you still need a power amp and cabinet(s). Well, you used to need a power amp and cabinet. This Headrush FRFR Monitor changes that. Whether you want to keep the volume to neighbour-friendly levels, crank it to use with bandmates or use it as a monitor on the stage, this does it all. I haven't used it at live performance levels yet, but I have no doubt it would cope. I've accidentally kicked the speaker grille a few times and there's not a mark on it (more than can be said for my old Marshall cab, years...
Orange PPC112 Black

In my years of playing a guitar I have come across many different speaker cabinets, from 4x12 to 2x12, 1x12... When I first tried an Orange cabinet, I liked it straight away and I have been using Orange cabinets since that day. I bought this particular cabinet for my living room practices- it's convenient in size and sound, plus the black finish really looks nice and fits in my living room. What I like about Orange speakers is that you can feel the quality in manufacturing, the box feels strong, massive but yet somehow still light. The bass response is tight, rich overtones.. The only thing i'd probably liked a bit more if it wasn't a full closed box. Shure it's good for a tight attack but sound just aliitle bit boxed. If I compare it to an half open 2x12 the difference is noticable,...
Harley Benton G112

Edited after using the cab live a lot :-) There are many better cabs out there, but none for the money. If you aren't a gear snob or tone hound and have realised that probably 99% of your audience really don't give a monkey about the nuance of sound but just want to dance like loonies and don't want to wince with any harshness in the sound. Welcome to my world. Boutique cabs cost more before they start earning. My gear has to earn. I needed to reinforce our sound. Not 'make louder' but reinforce. Combo on a beer crate behind me, extension cab on the other side of the stage on a beer crate. I'd been borrowing a Marshall 50watt combo + 1x12 which sounded no better. If we need louder, we mic up.Seems gear snobs and thieves like Marshall. I'm HB-80R+ this cab now and we still sound...
Palmer Cab 112 BX CRM
Based on 1 reviews
I bought the Palmer 1 x 12 cab because I wanted a Celestion Creamback-loaded 1 x 12 cab, and the Harley Benton Creamback-loaded 1 x 12 was not available for several weeks. I already own a Harley Benton Vintage 30-loaded 1 x 12, and I have to say that, whilst the Palmer is a decent enough cab, it is not quite as solidly-constructed as the Harley Benton, and also the Palmer is more expensive. Tonally, it is excellent, and (to my ears) the Creamback speaker blends well with & complements the Vintage 30. The one advantage of the Palmer over the Harley Benton is that the Palmer has 2 In/Out jacks, whereas the Harley Benton only has 1. Overall, a good guitar cab, but the Harley Benton is better value for money in my opinion.
