I was originally looking at the LJ6's smaller cousin, the LS6, but since it was unavailable at the time, I went for the LJ6 instead, and having played it extensively over the past months, I couldn't imagine myself with any other guitar. Having owned and played many guitars during my years of playing, I would say the LJ6 is the closest I ever got to a "do it all" guitar. The sound is almost piano like, with fantastic separation between strings, with just enough bass and very strong mids and highs. The feedback I get when playing is that it's "almost too perfect" sounding. The back and sides are laminated but Yamaha did such a great job that you can barely hear the difference to all-solid constructions. The Engelmann top is sweet, looks gorgeous and positively sings!...

Takamine GJ72CE-BSB

The Takamine was exactly what I was looking for. Something with a "colder" sound than what we are used to hear, great design and last but not least; something which can easily be tuned thanks to the tuning device mounted on the guitar. The tuning device has an ear for perfection which could cause some frustration the first times you might use it. It also has a 6.5mm jack so you can connect it to a footpedal, recorder, effect, etc so that makes it very compatable to work with on a live performance aswell as in the studio. I think it's a great instrument for the price!

I've been playing the Guitar on and off for the past fifty years for my own enjoyment. After doing my research I decided on the Guild F55E Maple which I purchased with the help off a small inheritance. I will start by saying that this Guitar plays like a dream, with a sound that beggars belief. The Neck is slim and effortless to play, with a super low action and a 12 inch radius Fretboard, giving it the feel off an Electric Guitar. There is nothing I don't like about this Guitar. If your in the market for a Guitar like this, I recommend that you at least try the F55E Guild Jumbo, guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Gibson SJ-200 Studio Rosewood Burst

This guitar plays like an absolute dream! I've wanted a rosewood jumbo to sing along with, and I have to say, I don't have to fight the guitar at all! I couldn't have asked for a better instrument to complement my voice. But even just for playing, the sound of this SJ-200 is so warm and rich, every string resonates beautifully while at the same time harmoniously flowing into a whole. The neck is comfortable, even though I prefer a somewhat more rounded C, and while I was at first concerned about the thinner depth of the body since I enjoy thicker jumbos, it's actually very comfortable and doesn't bother at me all. This is definitely a guitar I could play for hours on end and not get tired in the least. Overall, a 5+ star guitar!

I purchased this Jumbo acoustic guitar for live use, so the instrument had to be equipped with a pickup and an active preamp. Since the instrument in question would have been used mainly with DADGAD tuning and Heavy 0.60 / 0.14 caliber strings I needed an instrument that would support the tension of such big strings, not wanting to use one of my Martin or one of my Taylor I decided for this guitar, which honestly did not seem excellent but with a decent price-quality ratio, a very well-finished aesthetic and massive woods as stated by the seller. After the order the guitar was delivered in 4 days well packaged and intact, at a first visual examination the instrument was of considerable workmanship with very few smears of glue inside the box and valuable inlaid abalone as markers, very...

I've had this guitar for few month now, it sounds fantastic for the price range, good initial setup, fantastic look and feel, easy tune and easy connection for recording purposes. When you pick up the guitar, you can feel the sturdy construction. the sound coming from the guitar is huge, very balanced between bass and mid-range notes. Stings height is low thus making the playing really easy. Guitar has both mono and stereo plugs for jacks so integration with a mixer or recording interface is really easy. For me this guitar was an upgrade from a mid range Ibanez and the difference is massive. Absolutely love the guitar and the full feel it has!

I chose this guitar carefully, have always been a fan of Epiphone, had one many years ago. Still as good as ever -still quality woods - as ever. Precise and well built feels good looks good sounds good nice loud volume. Not quite a Gibson but it is if you correlate price and then I'm not Eric Clapton so it's fine for me. Many thanks Epiphone for your ever ongoing quality and attention to detail. a pleasant experience.Still retains that special Epiphone feel, look and sound I remember when first learning guitar many years ago - so bit of an emotional reminiscence journey for me! Chris.

I have been looking for a jumbo guitar for quite a while and was really pleased to spot this one. It was its looks which first caught my eye and the glossy black finish has not disappointed once I had it in my hands. It is deep and lustrous and the detailing add greatly to the overall look. The action was better than I might have expected from a brand new instrument and the intonation is consistent at every fret. The sound is great and has the depth and quality I have been looking for. the onboard electronics allow a great range of tonal qualities and the tuner is easy to use and clear to read. I'm really pleased with this purchase. As with other things, the ordering and online payment are simple and the packaging was superb. I was taken aback just how quickly the goods were delivered....

I am going to be 100% honest, I was completely blown away by this guitar. I did my due research on this guitar because lets be honest “a Jumbo style guitar for under 300$ U.S” definitely brings some concerns. To Start off the Finish is perfect , I really dont look that deep into finishes because I play my guitars a lot and they will get dinged and scratched as times goes by so no issues in that department. The strings are very high quality , seems like they are D’addario from the sound of them. The action is perfect aswell I dont know if I got lucky but the guitar plays great. Lastly the most important of all the “Sound” ived never owned a Jumbo before so I was blown , I literally strummed as hard as I could and the guitar kept giving me such a beautiful...

I simply fell in love with this guitar after strumming my first chords on it, the construction, finish, playability and sound are on a par with a guitar costing significantly more, what a great axe I can't say it enough, it really sounds like a guitar double its price. The action is lighter and lower than you'd expect from an acoustic, so while this is still a guitar that likes to be strummed, it's great for finger pickers as well. The groover machine heads feel smooth as butter and stay in tune very well. The preamp system sounds great after you fiddle with the knobs for a while and find the "right" sound for yourself. I love it and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a quality instrument at an affordable price.
