Harley Benton CG-45 NS

Well, guitar is really good considering the price. Decent tone and playbility. If you need something up to 100€, get it, you'll not regret it!

Absolutely amazing

I couldn't recommend it more, what an amazing guitar for 60€... the other acoustic i have is a taylor 214ce and honestly i love them both. For this money you CAN NOT buy a better guitar.

Incredible guitar

the price/quality ratio is unbeatable. It has normal construction details for its price. And the sound, I expected much less for what it is worth. The truth is that it is very solid for its price.

Wonderful guitar for low lost!

I am very happy to own this guitar, it sounds amazing!

Advantages:

- Good sound

- Nice looking natural wood

- No scratches due to matte finish

- Compact size and light weight, it is easy to take with you when traveling.

Disadvantages:

- Frets are not worn down, they scratch hands during the game

- Trunk not properly tuned, strings often rattle while playing

- Gold plating from strings fades quickly

- Bass strings sound louder than lower strings

Perfect for the price

You don't need much more. Nice small necks that allows to use the thumb and lets the hand sit comfortable whilst playing. The body size is good. All of this is considering its price. Good guitar to start.

Worth every cent!

This guitar is super affordable. Perfect for beginners. The sound is great. Loud and clear. The strings are quite high at the beginning, but since my fingers started to get used to it, everything works out perfectly at the end.

Very good for this money

Hello

I am writing a guitar review - Harley Benton CG-45 NS. This is my third guitar (first classical, second electric). Using more 2 months. For a beginner or intermediate guitarist, this is a good guitar. I am not a professional, but I think this is normal. It sounds very good, this is my best guitar at the moment. The guitar has no extras or features, just an acoustic guitar. To sit by the fire - will go.

Thanks a lot for your attention!

Best bang for the buck :)

I bought this guitar for my classroom where I teach. The guitar came with perfect setup out of the box :) Now almost 2 years after constant playing by me and my students I can say that is a perfect "workhorse" solution with many uses: Guitar for beginners, teaching, parties, etc.

I recommend this guitar to everyone on a budget or just for someone who needs cheap but a good backup guitar.

Can not argue with value for money

This is simply one of the best vaule acoustic guitars I have ever played. I have bought a few for my guitar students and none had to be much tweaked, being setup almost perfectly. frets were cut nicely, with no sarp edges and dead frets. The greatest surprise were the tuners, which were a lot better than I have ever expected.

If you plan on using it as a gigging guitar I would not reccomend it to anyone since it is neither loud nor pronounced, but for learning and practice or even travelling (it is super compact) is perfect. It is build very solid and being mistreated for almost two years now still perform excellently.

To sum it all up. It is super affordable but niclely made instrument. It is also a quite a lot smaller than my orher acoustic guitars (Made in Germany Framuf and Hofner archtop acoustics) being the same size as an Epiphone Casino (not being that thin) and it is a very comfotable guitar to play standing up or sitting down.

If you are looking for a first guitar look no further, I would just recomend changing the strings for some of better quality, becouse stock ones leae a lot to desire and does not show the instruments full potential.

great guitar, could be better with a little TLC

Let me start by saying, you cant beat the price of this all mahogany construction acoustic guitar. So if you were expecting a Martin for this price - that simply doesn't exist! However, if you are handy with the tools, you can make this feel like a more expensive guitar with a little TLC.

Out of the Box the action was great - i just tweaked the truss rod a little for personal preference. It played and sounded good oherwise.

The fret ends were a little sharp, so i took a (regular generic flat metal) file from my tool box and smoothed them out. If you font know how this is done, then youtube it.

This is me being fussy - but I also found that the binding wasnt smoothed out so i used the same file for the front top part of the binding on the body (where your right arm goes over the guitar), then some rough sand paper, followed by 1000 grit sand paper

If you would like to take it a step further, you could polish the frets, but my my home use and bashing around, its not needed.

All round great bang for the buck.

Beautiful sound!

For only 59 euros this guitar really surprised me.

Amazing sound, even sounds better than some walden guitars I previously owned.

I definitely recomend it to anyone that needs an affordable guitar.

You get what you pay for

Not very playable out of the box (high nut, some inconsistent fretwork), but after adjustment of the nut and the high frets and with some new strings, it feels/plays quite well. Its sound is a bit clunky as compared to a higher end dreadnought, which was exactly what I was looking for.

I wanted to like this guitar

A lot of people were saying in the reviews that it was a great deal for the price. I guess that's true, but the sound and playability are really not that great, and I couldn't recommend this guitar to someone looking for a first guitar. I'd rather point them to their local classifieds section for a decent second-hand model, which is what I'll be doing soon.

Lovely guitar.

The size of the guitar is ideal. Easy to carry around, easy to handle. I'm into electric guitars and I needed an acoustic to improve my playing so this was ideal. I'm not an expert in any case but this guitar sounds great to me and makes me want to play more. Thank God the pickguard is just a sticker and was not glued when arrived. Without it the guitar looks so much prettier. The tuners are plastic and feel quite cheap but who can complain, it's a ¤60 guitar.

Not bad for its price

I wasn't expecting anything great when I bought this guitar. I just wanted a guitar to grab around the house any time I feel like playing without being worried about having a scratch or damage.

First, the high E string broke right away so I have to change all the strings. Right after changing the strings, the real sound of this guitar comes in. Chords are very clear and single notes are smooth.

Surprising the build is not like a cheap $50 you buy in the toy store. Since this is not a high-end guitar, I didn't expect it to be highly crafted but it's well crafted for its price.

I find it better than my previous F310.
