Best for first 12strting

The guitar sounds very very good, i did'nt expect that. I really suprised from the sound of the pickup on a mixer. It is very nice for recordings. The quality of the materials is low, that's why the price.

The model has changed in 2018 and it's not look like as the picture, but the new one is very nice too. I suggest this guitar to everyone that wants to buy a 12 string for the first time. I'd like to have an allready installed tuner on the guitar because it really need but anyway... I use standard tuning with a little graphite on the bone and none of the strings don't broke.

GREAT, especially for beginners!!

This is an amazing guitar. Very nice look and feel, nice quality and the sound is extremely fat and complete, with a very good sustain with or without plug in. I really appreciate the work of the manufacturer. It's a great and cheap 12-string guitar and appropriate for beginners who want to start play a 12-string guitar

The only thing that I would like to mention is that the tuners are a bit small comparing to those of a electric guitar, but as they fit greatly with the guitar look you won't even care about them

Value For Money Guitar!

I've been looking for a 12-string for a while now. Always been in a store and played here and there on different models of all sorts of manufacturers. I did not really get warm with many, or they just were not in the budget. With the Harley Benton I got on nice features, great playability, top strings, just great.The pickup is good, although I play without amp most of the time anyway. The workmanship is impeccable and absolutely awesome for this price and rather suggests an instrument from other price regions.

For the price in my opinion is the best choice.

Lovely 12-String

Hadn't ever bought or even played a 12-String before, but decided this one was worth buying being so cheap. It was fantastic!

Don't think I've ever bought anything at nearly as reasonable a price, which has turned out to be of such high quality.

However, I couldn't say whether this is as good as other 12-Strings at a higher price - since I've never played any - but I can say with some certainty that I'm very happy with the quality and value of this guitar.

The sound is lovely and the electronics are of a very good quality, working well through an amp or a P.A.

Would recommend getting new strings, however, to give it that extra quality.

I LOVE this guitar.

For $110 US, I confess I had very low expectations. Really just added this to a larger order on a whim, to get the most out of the flat-rate shipping, but this is easily the best money I've spend on an instrument in years.

Out of the box, it played perfectly. Good quality strings (that in itself was shocking at this price point), the action is good and instantly playable. It has a rich, full, loud sound that's really hard to believe for the money. The tone is fantastic, with no tweaking other than tuning up. If I'd picked this guitar up in a store and tried it out, I would have expected to pay five or six times as much, and that would be on a good sale day.

Electronics are good, and they even included a 9V battery.

I really can't say enough about this guitar. I've had a very hard time putting it down since it arrived. Only feature I'd like to see that it doesn't have is a strap pin at the neck joint, but that's a quibble. An amazing value.

This is just amazing!!!

This is my first 12 string guitar. I wanted a bouzuki in the first place buy I couldn't afford it so me and my son found this. We bought it and it was shipped and arrived in 5 days total, we got it out of the box, tuned it and we were blown away. The finish is amazing, no scratches, fretboard isn't damaged, tuners are super fine smooth and don't de-tune. The string it came with are new and amazing and the whole guitar is just..WOOOW!!! I'm very please with this guitar and I'm keeping it in my collection forever. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants a 12 string. Cheers!

A nice surprise!

Looks like a guitar worth much more. Excellent flat neck, all frets nice and level and just the right action - no setup required other than a string change. A beautiful sound that fills the room. I have played for 20 years and now own a stack of Harley Benton acoustic style guitars and I see no point in upgrading, they are all surprisingly good.

Well, I've come to realise Harley Benton guitars are really excellent value for money (this is my 5th)

Sound - like a 12 string, the low strings are really bassy, the tops very bright. EQ isn't bad for the price and includes volume, low, mid, high and presence. AWESOME on open strings and appegios, really pleased!

Feel - like a 12 string! if you're coming form 6 strings it takes a little while to dial in the barre chords.

Build quality - I'm impressed again, no marks or flaws, looks lovely - very shiny! Obviously some of the parts aren't super high quality (like the nut) but the guitar tunes well and all 12 strings stay in tune. Action and intination are good

Love it, if you never had a 12 string you don't know what you're missing. Here's the perfect instrument to try it out without a huge financial investment.

well what can i say welcome to 12 string heaven for a ridiculesly cheap price.

SOUND :

the strings it comes with on are uselessy dead as allways (this goes for any guitar though from highend to cheapys). once strings are changed all is fine.

nice rounded sound over all, that lovley 12 string jangle not to shrill at all.

QUALITY :

1st off out of the box it seems flawless, the finish only is surley worth more than the whole guitar costs. the tuners are no frills but do the job admiringly. the 3 switchs on the eq work smoothly enough bit fiddly for big fingers but hey for the price you cant go wrong.

Great sound for a great price

Would highly recommend this guitar, for the price it's terrific.

The neck is slightly heavier than more expensive guitars but it doesn't detract and that aside it's absolutely worth the price.

The tone is impressive, full, rich and jangly as you would expect from a 12 string and the build quality and finish is superb.

I will probably replace the string pegs at some point too as a couple popped out with the initial tuning but no rush... in all, very pleased...

From western styled to Amon Düül styled playing

Sounds and feels great in regards to the price. The perfect guitar for jam sessions and you can hook it up to speakers, use effects and do some early Amon Düül styled playing. Go for it!

Once again an excellent quality and excellent value for money guitar from Harley Benton. Plays like a dream out of the box, and the internal preamp sounds absolutely fantastic. Incredible value for money!
