Great product for the price

After a few days it lost it's clarity comparing to Daddario. Still a good budget string set to keep on your bag.

Great Value

To be honest, i was expecting these strings to be of a lower quality. I was expecting them to be a bit grippy dull-sounding, maybe inconsistent in thickness. But they're absolutely fine. On par with Slinky. Restrung 3 guitars with these. One of those had elixirs on it. Those were a bit better but not 15 euros better. These are fine strings.

good novice strings

Bought this strings for my HB ST20hss because original ones were too thin to study on. Amazing quality for low price (common for HB). Totally recommend

very good strings

very good strings, i can't tell the difference between these and the ernie ball set, i guess the ernie ball are a bit more durable but in terms of sound there is no difference for me

best budget strings on the market

ive not bought name brand strings since HB started producing the HQ line-up. they sound great and feel great under the fingers very much like slinkys! they hold a tune and ive never snapped one yet

Harley benton HQS EL 10-46, 3$ strings that want to be 6$ strings, but they're more like 1$ strings.

I bought 1 pack of these just to check out if HB can offer good quality with lesser price like they do with guitars and i was shockingly disappointed. First string broke when i tried to put on my guitar. After tuning i always stretch fresh strings a little so they stay in tune better. So 1st string broke before i even played on it. Strings completely lost their brightness after 2 days of playing which is not okay even for a 3$ strings i think. 6$ strings for example can stay bright for up to 10-14 days of playing guitar. And the last thing, 4th string broke 3 days after i installed it, right in the middle of my street performace. Of course that happens sometimes, but 6$ pack used to server me MUUUUUCH longer. Afer strings lost their brightness i also found out that my guitar sound different, less volume and also sound lost like A LOT of highs so i cant even break throught mix, which never happened to me with this guitar and with any other old strings (assuming i always use the same gear) In consclusion i'd like to say you are better off buying any 6$+ pack, they'll server you much more, or buy elixirs they can serve you a dozens times more.

Unfortunately worse than the regular Valuestrings

Within a week of relatively heavy playing (playing a lot, but with a light touch), these strings go bright orange. They don't sound any different, but the coating has been decimated and look like they're rusting.

Bearing in mind that I've never had a set of Valuestrings snap, I have found a weird phenomenon with these Quality Series. The High E, for some reason, constantly breaks at the ball end. Completely unties itself from the ball and pulls through the bridge after a session of blues bends. Genuinely makes me terrified to play these strings on a gig because I know for a fact they'll snap if I'm taking a few solos.

Rather ironically I'll be sticking with the Valuestrings that are half the cost but significantly more durable.

As always, if you can afford the brand name, get them - IMO nothing beats the value of regular slinkys, but the Valuestrings are a GREAT replacement considering you can get 3 packs for the price of 1 set of Ernie Balls. Just don't buy these ones.

terrible strings

ive never had strings that turn my fingers black before, caused by the nickel coating coming off!,probably not great for health reasons either, very very cheap rubbish

Works great but oxides rather quickly

Great if you want to try something new or if you want to sell a guitar and put new strings on it!
