Canât do any better for the price really
Aside from some tool marks and whatever, I canât find a single problem. Came decently set up so I didnât need to do too much work, sounds spot on for what I wanted it for. Highly recommend.
Feels insanely good
Feels insanely good to play. Blown away by how good it feels considering the how cheap it is. I prefer playing this over my 800 euro fender. Came perfectly setup from straight from the store. Didn´t even need to set it up at all myself. Very happy with my purchase!
Ubeatable for the price
This guitar under a more famous manufacturer would cost easily double the price.
Very nice satin neck makes you play effortless keep in mind it is in the chunky area and not a modern C shape. However it is not a baseball bat.
The Roswell pickups are too hot but they have body and balls, i will not replace them, they sound phenomenal for the price.
Because of their high resistance they also create much hum so i put some copper tape in order to mitigate the issue.
Overall quality is comparable with 600 hundred euros guitars or even better, i had no issue with anything. Came pretty well setup and i just plugged it n played.
Only minor thing that perhaps i will replace in the future is the tuners that they hold the tuning but restring them sometimes is not easy.
I will put a set of Harley benton locking tuners.
Overall i am blown away by the rise on the quality of harley benton now days.
Highly recommended!!
amazing guitar :)
I ordered this guitar initially thinking the setup wouldn't be great but I was pleasantly surprised because the setup was incredible as the action was perfect and the neck was pretty much straight. This was very surprising as this guitar is less than the price of my groceries. My only gripe with this guitar is when on a clean channel for me I hear a slight hum when I turn the volume knob up, it isn't the end of the world since it is not that noticeable when just playing.
One of the best guitars on the market
I was skeptical because the price at first, but after a year of playing live and daily practice, it has exceeded my expectations. The value that you get out of this guitar is outstanding.
Flawless!
I order the shell pink option. everything came in perfect order. the finish on the guitar is beautiful. sounds incredible. punches so much higher than the price. highly recommend this is a steal!
Well, Everyone Online Wasn't Wrong
Everyone on Youtube and Facebook have been raving about this so I went for it. I am NOT disappointed. This thing played perfectly straight out of the box. I put Not Even Slinky's on it and tuned it to C Standard and it is beautiful. The Pickups are surprisingly good. Like, REALLY good. I've had my share of very pricey guitars over the last 20 years, and currently still have a 2005 Gibson Les Paul Classic and an 80's Charvel Model 2 that I love. But I will never buy an expensive guitar again. I'm going to replace my whole lineup with Harley Bentons and store my more pricey guitars. I know that sounds kind of... drastic, but these things are just that good. I am legitimately and very genuinely impressed!
Insane how good this guitar is
The YouTube reviews don't lie. This is an incredibly well finished guitar for the price. Comfortable binding on the fretboard, smooth matte finish on the neck, and has a decent tone. Plays great out of the box, only gripes I had are that the nut was glued in too securely and the neck doesn't seem to be C shape, more a D or oval C, whatever that is. Nut was made from some kind of bone dust composite. Overall this is at least as good as a Squier Classic Vibe but about half the price.
Amazing
Not sure how you can get the quality this good for the price. The guitar is flawless. Neck feels great, action was perfect and the pickups sound exactly like you'd want for a jazzmaster style guitar.
A wonderful choice for a Jazzmaster type guitar
I've had this guitar (in shell pink) for 3 weeks now and it's honestly one of the best guitars I've played and had the pleasure of owning. I can't claim to have ever owned a fender, or a Gibson or any expensive Guitar because I have not. I've played and owned many squires, low end Ibanez and esp guitars. Over the last year or so I've read many good reviews of Harley Benton guitars and I've been looking for a Jazz/Jag shape guitar at a reasonable price and this guitar delivers that and more. No tuning issues at all, no setup or action issues and no blemish or defect issues. The guitar plays perfectly well and the pickups themselves sound great and can be played clean or with OD/Distortion and still sound good. It's very comfortable to play. I had high hopes and expectations and I was not disappointed. I'm currently playing through an old (2009) Zoom pedal Into an old Spider 4 I've had for nearly 13 years (when I was 17) and it still sounds wonderful. I don't doubt it would sound even better with a new amp and or pedal. I recommend this to anyone viewing this page and thinking about buying it. The guitar is a bit lighter in weight than I thought it would be and that's a good thing. In comparison my affinity tele feels like it weighs a ton. Really good for any genre I've played on it. from Takanaka to The used. From Chon to Attila. There isn't anything I've played that I haven't been able to get the right sound on. 5/5 across the board.
