Immensely playable and sounds very good both acoustically and thru an acoustic amp on the Helix LT. looks fabulous too. I’d agree with others that the bottom E is a bit thuddy, but I’d tried two other basses before this one and they were pretty rough. Sticking with this and gonna use it in the studio .

After years of playing different basses (Squier, Music Man, a fretless electro acoustic one and an amazing MTD 535-24L), I slowly sold them one by one and stopped playing. I then looked for an "easy-to-play" bass (no 5 strings anymore, no fretless, no huge body, not heavy, no cables needed) and found this one. Always loved its design. However I was very concerned about its sound. I don't really care about the electric side of it because I'm not planning on playing amplified at the moment. I'm not planning on playing with anybody either, not even unplugged. I was just looking for a uniform sound from the highest note to the lowest.
