great value
such a cool sound for little money would recommend this guitar to any budding rock and roller
A Genuine Surprise
I took a punt⦠wow, what a surprise! My only two minor gripes are that the action is a little too high (for my tastes anyway) and that thereâs a noticeable drop in volume when using the split coil. It doesnât make it unplayable, far from it. Itâs also nothing that canât be fixed with a set up. Highly recommend.
Cool take on an iconic guitar
Everything is awesome about this guitar except the nut, which is a disaster: it’s off center toward the high E, it’s cocked backward leaving a gap, and there is glue seeping a centimeter down the first fret. Which is a bummer because the graph tech nut is one of this guitar’s selling points.
Also my push pull pot to split the coils makes a scratchy noise. Not a big deal on a cheap guitar but a constant irritation.
Other than that, the pickups sound fantastic, it’s got a nice-feeling neck, and it looks awesome.
Itâs Amazing, but required a few tweaks
I first purchased this guitar back in October as i had always been a fan of the univox hifliers and Mosrites. When it arrived, the action was slightly high but after i put 10-52 gauge strings and then adjusted the truss rod, it’s been fine ever since. After playing a few shows with the guitar i noticed a high pitch hum in the bridge pickup, it was microphonic. So i carved out the bridge cavity and switched it to a high output humbucker and it has been amazing ever since. The tuners were also not holding tune very well but after switching these too, i finally have the guitar if my dreams
Nice looking Guitar
Look Great Sounds nice. I like the split for the pickup.
