Harley Benton Spaceship PowerBar 40

I always had issues with underbolted power supplies and separate power adapters, just want an IEC and everything else to be connected. This provides a huge amount of power options, in a very compact space, with a large number of add ons. It comes with many different adapters, reverse polarity, current doublers etc and cable clips to keep things tidy. On the back it has USB socket for when your iPad is dying in the middle of a gig. Combined with the SpaceShip 40, it probably gives you more power outlets than you can fit on a pedalboard this size, but as I have a couple of 12V pedals too, its nice to have that as well as the large number of 9V options. Overall the Spaceship 40 is the same size as this with or without the power strip but more robust with this.

Everything is great about this source but i have two inconveniences: 1. when connected to powersource the transformer makes a 10khz noise which is picked up by guitar pick-ups and it’s annoying 2. You need to pay attention that you are connected to a good socket. I was actually doing half of concert on battery than my battery died mid concert - it was my mistake cause i didn’t make sure that electric connection worked. In studio I track guitar only on battery - the noise is incredibly low.

The one I received is not like the one on the picture, but as they say "specifications can be changed without prior notice". It's wider but also shorter so the overall size is the same. It's extremely lightweight at 53 grams, totally different from the 273 grams transformer I used a couple decades ago. The cable is not the thickest but for home it's adequate, it will not be dragged around, stomped and pulled on like the cords of things that travel by truck from gig to gig. Some transformers are accused of causing hum in pedals but this one does not make hiss or hum. I tried it on a digital delay that drains a lot of current, a Metal Zone double-stage distortion, and a reverb pedal, it works neatly with all. The plug locks firmly in all but enters all the way only...
