Bought it in order to amplify my electric and acoustic guitar where portability is needed. Of course it doesn't sound like a 4x12 cab, but that would be quite stupid to expect. Although the power rating is only 10 wats, the speakers are pointing upwards and emphasized are the mid frequencies, so it sounds surprisingly loud. The clean channel got quite nicely along with my distortion and drive pedals and even with the Zvex Fuzz Factory. The crunch and lead channel, not so well. At least I couldn't get good results when boosting the crunch channel with my Tubescreamer copy. Fortunately the channels mentioned have plenty of gain in tap, so you just have to use the volume knob on your guitar and not the pedal in order to manipulate the gain level. This is great for lazily sitting on the sofa having a bit of fun. When you want to play a little but don't want the hassle of getting an amp cabled up, this is a great toy. In no way is it a substitute for a practice amp, nor is it intended to be. However, it is the perfect thing when you want to be up and playing 5 seconds after picking up your guitar. I love it.
