Awesome Talk Box!

This talkbox is affordable, seem to be high quality and sounds like a talk box should.

I'm in love with this talkbox.

Amazing and cheap

An amazingly sounding talk box, need practice to sound good, but does the job extremely well.

Great tone, construction and ease of use.

Sturdy, straight-forward construction with an added elegance (wood trim).

More importantly: great tone reproduction of the 70's talk-box sound (Jeff Beck, Frampton, Joe Walsh)

Not complicated to set-up and flexible enough to accommodate several signal path configurations. Great for studio and live applications.

It's a cheap talk box, and not a good one.

It has the basic functionality. An input, some volume, and a speaker. The problem is that it sounds awful. And I mean really awful.

- 100-500Hz range is non-existant, but then a huge spike at 600Hz

- Very lacking in clarity

- You need to enable overdrive to get any volume

- Really, really high noise level

I'm building a better one myself from some small guitar amp and a decent mid-range compression driver. Same prize, better sound.

Love the Talkbox

This is a brilliant product.

One can have hours of fun with this Talkbox and not just with a guitar.

Really amazing piece of gear and super easy to use !

Works Great

I brought this on a whim really, I love the sound of the talk box and always wanted one.

The features are pretty simple and if you're using a synth (i'm using a microkorg) it goes LOUD, like REALLY LOUD so be careful of that.

When using with a guitar it sounds perfectly fine and recording hasn't been an issue at all. I'd recommend using a volume pedal before the talkbox so you can swell in notes too.

Overall, the product is great and works fine. It is rather heavy though but still feels really good quality,

Best budget talkbox!

If you want a talkbox just to experiment with this is your best choice.

Great features and sound quality.

Biggest drawback- a pretty wide diameter tube, might be a little bit hard to pronounce words for people with smaller mouths. there are some youtube guides on how to narrow a talkbox tube diameter.

Also pretty heavy to carry around and it does not have a bag so it makes it not ideal for moving it alot.

Other than that- flawless..

What a great pedal. For a long time I wanted talk box and that is the one. Price is very fine not overprised. 5 stars

So cheap and sounds good to me.

This is my first talkbox so I am in no way an expert but it sounds really good to me. And for this price its a great thing to ad to the studio just to have some fun with. Its really fun to experiment with different instruments and sounds, very intuitive but so much harder to pronunciate words than I expected.
