My squier affinity tele blows this out of the water â¦
Well guys received my first HB today , looks wise from a distance, stellar. But honestly my $250 Squiere affinity tele blows this out of the water in every single way possible. Not paying that shipping to send it back so I guess Iâm stuck with it and will learn to like it in some way. The way these things were talked up really had me stoked , but this thing is like a mix of first act & lyxpro Feels extremely fragile and cannot weigh more than 4 pounds I guess there was only one way to find out Iâll find a way to like her ð Also came with every screw extremely loose and scratches all over and the switch for pickups bent and stuck ð¤·
Good for the money
So far , Harley Benton has the best selection of left handed guitars Iâve ever seen .The guitar plays amazing for $140 US. The neck is incredible considering. The pickups are weak in my opinion . The could use better output .The only issue that I came across is when changing the strings the brass ferrules fall out, and you have to keep an eye on them so you donât loose them. Other than that. I enjoy playing as much as my fender strat, or a few of my other guitars.
Great quality guitar. Very Nice and deluxe finish
I feel like I have been blessed with great luck
But before I get into too much of that let me say this guitar is something to reach for over and over because it just that good from the pickups to the neck and tuners to the perfection of the fit and mirror like tuxedo black finish the gold trim is a very classy touch that sets this guitar above all others a joy to look at and even more beautiful to play…
Great guitar for the price.
I love the feel of the neck it’s very comfortable.
It looks stunning.
The pickups sound great and have a nice twang to them a bit of a cross between a fender ish twang and a bright PAF.
The only downside is the high E rubs slightly on the bridge which could cause an issue with string breakage.
I’ve hardly put it down since I got it.
Excellent value for the money.
Absolutely beautiful guitar
Can't stop getting compliments on how nice this guitar looks. Can't beat it, especially at this price level. Absolutely amazing price to performance ratio, definitely one of my favorites of all time.
This Thing is AMAZING!!
As a lefty I have limited choices. This guitar is awesome! It is not only beautiful it sounds great. Yes, SOME of the parts on it will ultimately have to be replaced with a better quality, ie the tuners. But for $122 (US) plus shipping!!! It cannot be beat. Love the black and gold combo. Really stands out.
An eyecatcher that will turn heads and ears alike.
This is a gem of a guitar. The big guys on the block should take careful notice and realise that they have too often been relying on their brandname - rather than the quality of the products that they sell. Harley Benton has done just the opposite. Offering wonderful products, without relying on a household name to carry them across the line - and it shows in the incredible quality and attention to detail of their many products. If you are sitting on the fence and unsure - take it from a musician who has been playing for more than 40 years - Harley Benton is proving they are a force to be reckoned with one instrument at a time.
Beautiful workhorse of a guitar
Going to be honest, I wanted a tele style guitar and the options for lefties are just so... dull! Saw this and immediately fell in love.
It's not a solid black body, as it appears in the pictures... There's a lovely subdued grain to it. The black and gold scheme looks great, though the pots and other fittings feel a little cheap. I was tempted to put gold strings on it, but was very glad I didn't when I snapped the Hi-E when restringing with Ernie Balls.
Changed the strings to 9s and got some help from my guitar teacher adjusting the setup slightly. I have been thrashing the hell out it for two months now and I have only had to retune it two or three times - I know, I can't believe it either - so it keeps its tune really well.
All in all, a beautiful guitar that can take a hammering and still perform... All for well under £200. Amazing
Outstanding quality and sound
I am impressed, the quality is clearly above the price. Everything in this guitar is made accurately and with high quality. The neck of the guitar is even, the frets are also made with high quality. A good basis for a future upgrade. Of the minuses, only the backlash of the tuners and the large weight of the guitar itself can be noted.
