I love this guitar

Expectation: I expected to need to spend time setting it up, and then realising the pickups were terrible and worthless, or something like that. Reality: I love this guitar. The out-of-the-box setup was just right, didn’t need to do any fret work or even intonation adjustments! And even though the pickups are even brighter than even a standard Tele would be, they sound SO GOOD. I have so, so much fun playing this guitar, and get some great sounds out of it in a bunch of different genres.

TELE-D-TRUTH

The TE 62 is a well built guitar with excellent hardware. The Roswell pickups offers clarity and power. The turning is stable and reassuring. Overall, this a good looking instrument, with the roasted maple neck / fretboard giving it that classic look and feel.

Great mod platform

I have bought this guitar as my first tele to be a bases for modding. I really like the "caramelized maple" feel of the neck, and i decided on this guitar because is wanted a maple fretboard, and i liked the color. At first the neck felt a little too thick for my taste, but i got used to it really fast, and now i don't even notice it. At this point i have basically modded everything on it, so i cannot really talk about the electronics, or the hardware, but the body and neck was a great base for the following mods: - changed tuners to "Gotoh SD91-05M HAPM Locking 6L N" - put in Fender Baja Tele PUs and electronics (twisted tele neck, broadcaster bridge, 4 switch, s1 switch" - added a B5 bigsby, size is perfect for the body, i have dremeled out some channels in the back of the bridgeplate - changed the saddles to Gotoh In-Tune BS T-Style Saddles Set, this works well with the bigsby, i have tried the allparts compensated saddles, and the göldo saddles as well which didn't work well with the bigsby/bridge All in all i love how this guitar turned out.

good Tele not just for beginners

The guitar just need a set-up according with your way of playing. For the rest it can be played by beginners to average medium skilled players, and do to its price, it s funny to project upgrades and modify it along with your style of playing without the fear of ruining a treasure. Very good.

Speechless

I would never thought that I will find the best neck dimensions for my hands in such a budget guitar!! I played several guitars from high end Ibanezes to Gibsons and Fenders . The feel also of the neck is superb.

The guitar vibrates very well and has great sustain! I would buy it again . In general this instrument made me confident for a next Harley Benton purchase ! Happy 😊

Truly awesome

As received, it needs nothing. It’s really terrific for 3x the money. The neck is silky smooth and comfy. The guitar is super resonant. The tunes are just fine and seem to work well. If I’m hyper critical, the knobs and switch are the weak link. That’s a simple fix though.

Nice tele!

I had to do a few upgrades to this one, shielded inside the guitar, put on a tusq nut and some brass saddles, it now plays really nice and the pickups are very usable.

Genuine value for money

I'm no expert but I do own a good mixture of guitars from cheap and cheerful to the high end brands; this one is up there. It has that genuine tele sound but it looks the part too. It's light and comfortable and there's something about the neck that feels so homely - my favourite neck by far. This guitar is worth every penny; I've already ordered my next!

Completely blown away.

I got this guitar for a little over 110 euro on sale, and let me tell you, it feels at least 5x dearer. The pickups sound good, the harware is solid, the neck feels amazing, there is no fret sprout whatsoever, setup was spot on right off the bat. What else can I say, I'm completely sold on Harley Benton.
