Harley Benton Valuestrings WE 12-53 4-stars Reviews
Great, value and quality once again.
I know this sounds a bit prefers, but the only reason I don't give these five stars is because they are only available in 12 gauge. I know I'm not being really fair, just a little frustrated that such quality and reliability combined with an unbeatable price, is not available in maybe one more choice of gauge.
Great strings. I use only these on acoustic and will continue to do so.
Good for the price
First off, I 'd like to say that these strings have a very good price. I mean they 're probably the cheapest guitar strings you can find and taking that into account they offer pretty great value. These were the first strings I ever bought and of course I have tried other strings since then and have come to like others more, both the sound and the durability of them, but I guess if you don't have much money at the moment or if you just want them for your second guitar and/or for emergencies, then they are a very good choice.
Must-buy product!
I'd already bought some 010s from this brand/range, this time I tried the 012s.
There's not much to say. You get regular strings, with average tone and durability for less than 1€/£.
These are great for people who like the sound of new strings. It makes no sense buying more expensive strings if you like to change them regularly.
Harley Benton Valuestrings
Harley Benton Valuestrings have been as a pack up set for my guitar.
I have used them couple of times and for their price the quality is satisfactory.
The sound isn't so good, but the reason why I have these is if in jam session one of the strings breaks I have always a spare with me.
Decent strings to act as a back up or to a second guitar
Great strings for a good price tag!
These strings are really good if you're changing strings often. Myself I'm a fan of good tone so I change my strings within the frame of a month or a couple of weeks. It becomes quite costly if you buy from other string manufacturers so I decided to go for these strings due to their low price tag. They do last a little bit shorter but I don't m ind because I'm used to changing strings often and it is also good for the economy.
really cheap strings
The harley benton valuestrings 012 were extremely cheap, so I had to try them out on my acoustic guitar. I had no major problems tuning them and they seemed to stay in tune quite well after a couple playing sessions. The sound wasn't horrible, but they lacked the clarity and nuances of a more expensive strings like Martin or Daddario. These strings do have a great price/quality ratio, and so they would be really good for beginners fearing to ruin more expensive strings while practicing playing the guitar the right way. They are also good for learning to change string properly, because of their affordable price.
The cheapest acoustic guitar strings in the world!
Surprisingly good quality, you can buy several sets of these strings for the same price as an average set in my local music shop. Absolute bargain, will be buying again soon!
Can't beat these prices
Excellent value for money strings - cant find better elsewhere. Long lasting, strong and good sound quality. Shipping was fast, accurate and well packaged for protection. I will definitely be back for more.
good standby strings
I buy these for my grandsons accoustic, he is perfectly happy with them, and also I buy them for emergency use on stage if strings break... and then I keep them on my electro accoustic until time to change my set to a Martin set, which are my normal strings. Im quite happy with them , they do the job, but Ive noticed I have to be more gentle with them if pre-stretching them on first stringing, as they have snapped on me a couple of times, so Im more careful now when I need to use them.Otherwise, good value strings.
