Harley Benton Valuestrings CL Normal 5-stars Reviews
Good string for the price . Sound is bright and they stay in tune well. I have not broken any of these strings. I used these on a cheap nylon string for string busking so i always keep a few packs cos there such good price
excellent basic strings, great value
No complaints at all, exactly as advertised!
Good strings
Strings are of perfectly acceptable quality, i can't hear much difference between these and some more expensive strings. Different maybe, but not worse. Not so sure about durability, they are holding up goof for now.
Nice rich sound on the cheap.
I cannot really say it is the most durable set of strings I've ever bought, but boy do they sound good. I'd rather buy many of these cheap string-sets and always have new strings on than sticking to any other option.
If you're skeptical about it, you should still give them a try. It won't be heavy on your pocket anyway.
My first set, I think I'm happy!
As I said is my first set so I really don't know how it should be, I just noticed that after three day of playing for about half an hour a day they still need to be retuned over and over.
But for the price I'm very happy
Great value strings.
These are a great set of strings for a very low price.
I used to use Pro Arte strings on my classical guitar, but after having tried these, i don't really see any reason to spend a fortune on strings. As I'm never likely to perform classical guitar in front of an audience who may possibly be able to hear a difference (all though doubtful) why spend more.
They take quite a while to fully stretch in but that's the same for all nylon strings. There is an old joke I've heard about by the time nylon strings have stretched in, its then time to change them.
These strings seem to hold tune as well as expected and sound fine in my opinion.
Adequately packaged.
Certainly worth trying out, its not much to gamble on, even if you do not like them.
Harley Benton Valuestrings Classical
Great value strings. Come nicely packaged. After a few days settling in, they are staying in tune nicely.
Recommended.
Like!
The quality of the materials, the gauge of the strings, the winding methods, and special coatings all influence the sound and performance of your guitar. This means buying the right guitar is only half the battle ? buying the right strings is the next step!
Bought for a beginner's guitar.
No nonsense very affordable replacement strings option. They aren't top-flight, but then they aren't priced as such. Great for beginners.
Lovely strings
Nice strings, cheap price, good tone, what else do you need?
Well happy.

Great value !
To tell the truth i just wanted a cheap set for my classical guitar as i use it only for jamming . these strings didn't disappoint me as they turned out perfect for my needs.
They produce a nice warm tone that is perfect for my taste. It took my only a couple of times to get stability in the tuning.
Really good product in a really good price !
Excellent strings!
I can't tell any difference between these and most other more expensive brands on the market. They do exactly what they're supposed to do and last pretty much the same length of time as any other set of strings, so why pay more?
Buy it.
I really loved these strings. Sound and the feeling is so nice. After a few tunings it holds the tuning nicely. I even liked more than those expensive string sets I used before. I will deffinitly buy more...
satisfied
Thank you for good quality and price of this product.
Very durable and easy maintenance.
I will certainly do more orders and give to my friends.
Why pay more ?
I'm sure there's many people who would claim a vast difference between these strings and strings of 10x the price but I really don't hear it myself. They are perfectly acceptable synthetic nylon strings for acoustics.
I am quite close to just buying loads of packs of HB strings as strings, for me, in the past were always a mournful thing to buy, 10 euros a pop or thereabouts in the local shop and, while not bank-breaking, if you have many guitars (as I do) then it soon begins to add up.
I'm really glad HB started this no frills string range but, unlike most "no frills" brands, these are actually really good quality, in my eyes. I can't really think of anything negative to say about them. They hold their tone well and are well made strings, nothing wrong with them whatsoever.
I think it's a good idea to always have a few packs of these laying around. For the price they're an absolute steal (like a lot of Harley Benton stuff) and considering you can buy many packs for the price of 1 pack of "big name" strings it seems nonsensical not to go with this option. Give them a try sometime, it's hardly going to break the bank, and I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised.
I only wish HB did string packs for 7 string guitars but I guess their strength lies in the volume of production runs and 7 strings are always "a bit on the periphery" in terms of people needing parts etc.
Anyway, definitely pick some of these up and try to spot the difference with much more expensive brands, I would say you'll notice very little considering the difference in price !
As good as more expensive strings
I hear no compromise in tonal quality in comparison to more expensive strings. No problem with lasting either. Will buy again. The same impression about some other Harley Benton products.
well made and good sounding strings :)
I use this strings for about 2 or three years and I'm really really happy with them. I buy them always
They're sounding good and are really cheap, so I've got always backups at home.
I think they're not last as long as elexir, but you can buy 10 packages of them for only one elixir. ;)
I think they sound identical (or nearly better) than Ernie Balls, Rotosound etc. and cost about 1 / 5 of them, thats why I think it's okay.
I highly recommend those strings, especially for the price. You can't make anything wrong with them. :)
Value 4 money strings!
These are nice strings for your average classical guitar. Light and easy to tune. I've used these strings on most of my classical guitars and the performance is good. They're cheap too! Look elsewhere if you need a very expensive set of concert strings for your important exams.
Solid performers
Good warm sound, stay in tune rather well, with a rather low price.
It is important to change nylon strings every now and then (maybe every two months or so to keep that aural shimmer) and these strings fill the bill perfectly.
Not called "Valuestrings" for nothing
I was skeptical buying the cheapest classical strings I could find but no regrets so far. As a casual classical guitar player I can't really hear the difference from more expensive ones. One thing to keep in mind before stringing your guitar is they have kept costs down by cutting them in bare minimum lengths. Still long enough.
