Harley Benton Valuestrings Uke Black Reviews
ok
You cannot complain much about this strings. They are actually playable. They don't seem to give you much reason for joy neither if it weren't, of course, for the price.
Interesting black look
Good and very well priced value ukulele strings, recommended if you are on a budget.
Interesting black look
Good for the price
Very good for the price.Buy them.
brilliant
Perfect for the low price. Would highly recommend them to any beginner player they are excellent quality
Good Strings for the Money
They work great in my kids tenor ukulele. Love the black look. They last long, but then again they where not put to too much stress. Would buy again.
Medium Quality
I can say it was not what I expected. But as it is very cheat, it attends the basic requirements just to play for fun :)
Pretty alright
Not much can be said about these strings. They are cheap and do the job. If you want black strings on your ukulele these are perfectly fine.
You really can't go wrong with the ¤1 Harley Benton strings, they're more than adequate.
Nice value ukulele strings!
Nice & very well priced value ukulele strings!
Starter kit essential
One of the things I like about ukuleles is how little you need to start playing it: little space, little skills and, yes, little money (little hands are a plus too).
This set of strings comes as cheap as it gets, and it totally does the job. For 99c you can't go wrong!
Great for practice ukus. Use them to play at home, etc... Probably not the best for a more "professional" use. If you want to get the best sound out of your ukulele, you better throw a few more bucks in.
Bottom line: add one or two of these in your next ukulele related shopping list. It's less than 1eu each and you'll be glad to have these around.
Great value Strings
Am using the Harley Benton value strings on my Uk and abso no probs Lovely sound and stay in tune
Value for money
As the cheapest out there, it brings good value bang for buck....
Will definitely recommend....
strong, nice sounding
Bought these strings to go with my Ukulele.
they are very strong and sound extremely nice and really enhance the way thatthe Ukulele sounds.
would definately recomend these strings to anyone tht is looking in to Ukulele strings on a budget.
seem good
I'm not a ukulele expert. My experience is that often cheap ukulele strings are not in tune when you press the frets. These ones don't seem bad at all, they are very soft in touch and pretty good in tune. The sound is not big, rather sweet and soft, but quite nice and agreable.
Standard !!
No need to buy over priced strings for the Uke . These are as good as any .
Value strings
Nice strings, decent tone and durability for cheap.
Uke Strings
Best price strings ever nice tone and never broken one ever
Good spare strings for emergencies/tuition/etc
These are not the very best of strings, but they are very good value and pleasant to play if you are happy with lower string tensions.
The sound is not as crisp as a set of Aquilas, but for the younger player this is often not a problem.
So if you are involved in tuition (or know young people who are learning) these can make a useful replacement set or a very acceptable gift.
The strings are better than many 'original' strings fitted to new ukuleles.
Being rather lower tension than many strings fits in well with the needs of younger and less experienced players.
They sound good, just not -quite- as good as the best, and do represent very good value.
Recommended if you are on a budget.
Uke strings
Very reasonably priced strings. There's a bit of stretch in them as you might expect, but not too bad. I put a set on my cheap Stagg uke, replacing the factory fitted set and I noticed quite a difference in tone and playability. They settled in after a couple of days, where I had been tuning the factory set for nearly two weeks without success. I have recently bought a quality Epiphone uke and I might try a set of these on that too, although reading other reviews has made me think maybe I should go for a more expensive set of Aquilas. I suppose at this price I could try these first - they can always be kept as spares for the Stagg if it doesn't work out.
These strings suck worse than Pauly Shores Jury Duty!
I have been ridiculously impressed by Harley Benton strings in the past, particularly their coated guitar strings. Even their really cheap value range are really awesome (I mean really decent bass strings for under four pounds, that's just crazy). I bought a couple of sets of these babies as an experiment and I have to say that I've found a weird satisfaction in finally having found a chink in ol' Harley's armour. These strings seem really thin, seem to have a much lower diameter than any other uke string I've used which could lead to them rattling around a bit and they generally have a very toy town like feel to them. I can't see these ever really being better than the strings that are even on the cheapest of ukes. The reason I gave these two stars is they are less than a quid and they do actually hold their tune reasonably well when they are broken in.
As I sit on my couch typing this I'm twenty minutes into jury duty and it's not as terrible as I remember!
good strings
had a bit of trouble changing them but that is because i dont know how to put them on properly, overall life saviors! i recommend this strings also to beginners because of their quality price range. Overall i like the sound and even though i have not lots of experience with other ukulele strings, the ones that come wth the ukelele did pretty well for 2 months or 3, but i changed them because of the loss of tuning after just a bit playing. That is a bit annoying but as like me you are learning how to play the ukulele, it will do the job wonderfully.
