Hercules Stands HCMS-432B Mic Stand

Good quality

I have used this stand for over 30 gigs now and only starting to show a small bit of wear, but the overall quality and stability is top notch compared to other stands by other brands that I have used before. Hercules are a top brand and would recommend this to be your next buy, you wont look back

Strong and sturdy

Lasts for a very long time and sustained use

Not bad but too light and therefore wobbly… but pretty cheap

It is pretty light, so a lot less to carry compared to a k&m and has some nice features like the „clip-on“ boom or the fixing of the boom-arm with just one screw…but it‘s a bit uncertain how long this will work, time will tell.

But the biggest problem is the lightness of the base and the wobbling when one uses it at full extension especially with the boom-arm. It may be enough for light microphones, but it is definitely not recommended to use mics being on the heavy side, it is then prone to tipping over… so definitely NO, I wouldn‘t use it with any microphone… only with cheap and light ones.

But if one has no high expectations it is a nice mic-stand for almost half the price of a k&m.
