Sturdy and stable stand

Well made and solidly built. The key feature is the quick-release height adjustment, which is great except for one thing: if you release the lever without supporting the bracket with the other hand, it will go flying downward, impelled by raw gravity! It can be quite a shock to frayed nerves but is easy enough to avoid once you are used to it. It is still possible to operate single-handedly.

Granted, I'm using it as a monitor stand...

...but that's a compliment to its stability. It holds my Avantone cube without problems, and it's heavier then any microphone. Hercules always leaves the impression of industrial equipment - overbuilt but nice, in a brand-new-garbage-truck kind of way.

Good sturdy short mic stand

Great little mic stand. Only complaint it that it doesn't go low enough to mic small amps. Kick drums, big cabs and under snare are all ok.

Ideal mic stand for underneath your snare

This stand is perfect as a stand for your snare bottom mic. The telescopic stand makes adjusting height super easy without tightening/loosening bolts and the bites out of the base make it easier to position the stand inbetween other stands. Comes with a mic clip that suits any small dynamic such as an SM57. Perfect!

Solid Stand

Used this for a small radio station its perfect, and the base is nice, you can shove it into a Technics 1210 foot base and it gives it a bit more stability, but overall a very good stand., not disappointing at all!

Very solid

I was looking for a tripod, which is suitable for my desk. Its low price convinced me.

The tripod has the ideal weight to guarantee a robust stand for Podcasts and is very well processed. The height adjustment works reliably, too.
