This harmonica is well build, and feels solid in the hand - I feel confident taking it out in my bag or pocket to a picnic. It's airtight, the sound is good, the reeds are very responsive, and it's relatively loud - it will hold it's own in a small acoustic ensemble. It's worth noting this is in what other brands call "low D" - so it starts at D3. As such, while the low octave is very responsive, it does require a little bit of air to activate the reeds. You can’t play it quietly, and because of that the harmonica loses in subtetly. Not a harmonica for pieces with a lot of subtle dynamics. Classical harmonica, unique model. The sound produced is also unique (Echo, tremolo), clear and clean. Lightly blown and sucked in, it produces a great sound. The drawback is that the thin stainless body is easily deformed due to a small impact. And the main drawback is to close the stainless cover (cover) using nails instead of screws so it becomes an obstacle to cleaning the inside, if you open it slowly, it might still be closed again, even then it's not as tight as before. Though Harmonica needs to be cleaned, after use. My advice is that HOHNER is wise to pay attention to this situation...so that the screws are replaced, the wood where the screws are placed should be protected, so that they are easy to disassemble and install. In conclusion, despite the shortcomings, I still like...

A nice sounding and easy to play harmonica, though not as good as the Hohner I bought 40 years ago...and still have. To be honest, I am still not competent but just like making music and would recommend this harmonica.
