All you need - nothing you don't
This amp is amazing. And is exactly what I needed and expected. No tone coloration and fancy knobs, just a volume pot and pure power.
I'm done carrying 10+kg heads around.
If you wonder if it's loud enough like I did - don't. If you crank it up it easily outcries the drums, but you risk bleeding from your ears. And I'm not even using its full potential with a 2x12 16 ohm cab. I can only imagine what damage a 4x12 at 4 ohm might do.
Someone might want a stereo input and output, but for that price, just buy another one - there's your stereo sound.
It would've been nice to have the option to connect a second cab, but it's not something that can't be solved by making a cable, or if you're lazy just buy a cab merger.
Excellent product for pedals
I bought this to plug my boss multi-effects pedalboard and send it to a cabinet. It does the job nicely.
Nice fit for Helix
I use it together with Helix to play into a real cab. Nice compact power amp with pretty flat response. I could also compare it with compact power amp from Seymour Duncan Power Stage 170: HoTone looked a bit more flat to me in terms of high end response. So I believe Seymour Duncan is just not worth the money they're asking, HoTone does the job really well and it's definitely loud enough, so you can play with loudest metal drummer you can find :-D
Great for bedroom volume (and possible louder)
Works great with my Kemper and Harley Benton G212 Vintage 30. People like light but I hoped the unit would have been a bit heavier.
yeah it's loud...
I have a melodic death metal band and i was trying to short my gear. I was looking for Seymour Duncan ps170 watts but its kind of expensive... this was my budget choice. At my rehearsal my speaker has 8ohms so i was playing at 40watts, blow my mind must say... Dont even reach half way of volume noob. Im preaty sure with my 4X12 speaker its gonna be ok o gigs... If 40 watts can be that loud, at 75watts will be more than enough... Awsome product combined with mooer preamp live ;)
Small, light and powerful enough.
I bought this to sit between my Kemper Stage and my FRFR speaker.
I was worried that it might not be loud enough but it's got ample power - the FRFR is essentially a monitor after all and can be heard by the band no problem.
So light, so small, so portable. Excellent.
Great sounding little power amp!
I bought this amp to use in conjunction with my Kemper Profiler stage.
I use it mainly to monitor my guitar through a guitar cab with the Kemper during rehearsals. Power cord and power input are a little flimsy, but at this price point I am willing to live with it.
In this case the name of the product really says it all.... it is "#?% - ing loud! I don't even have to turn the knob half way to compete with the drummer and bass player in my band.
Overall a great product, it does what it says on the tin ;-)
Great value
I got this to connect my Kemper Stage to a cabinet and it's amazing. It can get really loud, it drives 4x12 cabs no problem and it supports all impedances you can find. It's super small and light and I am simply amazed by it. Highly recommend
