Höfner HC504-7/8

Shorter scale

I wanted to get a guitar that had a slightly shorter scale and

a narrower neck compared with the standard size classical guitar. The Hofner HC504-7/8 , is just that- shorter scale at 630mm and neck width at the nut is 50mm.I wanted it mostly for strumming and fingerpicking songs. I think the guitar is good value for money. It wasn't what i was looking for in the end as it doesnt suit my style of playing. The sound isn't great realy but for the price it's good. It also has a truss rod which i wasn't expecting. All in all it's a cheaper "beginners" guitar, so it won't sound great if your an experienced player. However for the money it costs , it sounds quite good and feels nice to play. I couldn't say anything negitive about it realy and think it is a nice guitar in it's price range.
