Fell in love.
This is my first guitar purchase and I am as happiest as I can be. This guitar is a work of art.
Cheap but usefull
Good sofa guitar. No more. No less.
The colour is dreadful and it feels cheap all the way.
But. It has a lovely sound with flat wounds.
The set up out of the box was horrendous.
All in all I would recommend it to people who like getting started with Jazz guitar. I got it for my son. He wont touch it however. He hates everything about it. He thinks it looks ugly. I think is spot on.
I will sell it on the next car boot sale.
More than I expected
A little jewell, I love this guitar.
It came out of the box practically with perfect tuning, ready to play.
It provides confortable and agile playing and it is technically spotless. I like the warm sound of the installed humbuckers, but some may prefer to replace them, for a more traditional jazz sound.
Ant it is a real beauty, with its retro looks :)
A beautiful guitar with production flaw
This guitar has a truly beautiful, matte finish, tunes perfectly and has a great acoustic and pick up sound. Sadly, the one I got had a production flaw - the jack input was over-screwed which made tiny cracks around it in either the finish or wood. Thus I had to send it back and give 4 out of 5 for quality control.
Excellent sound, great looking guitar.
I've owned this guitar for a good few months now. Having always played solid body electrics as a solo guitar vocalist, I always wanted to try something completely different.
This guitar played like a dream, straight out of the box, and felt like I'd been playing it for years.
I love the matte finish.
It's incredibly comfortable to play, and light, so I don't feel any neck or back ache after a three hour gig standing up.
Tonally, the pick ups and tone control provide me with every sound I need from country to jazz, with rock and blues thrown in too.
I would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants to try a hollow body, as the price is great and the quality of the finish is superb.
excellent quality
I bought this because it was cheap enough to take a gamble. I'm very glad I did.
Stock tuners: I found them to be a bit on the cheap side. I was having tuning issues. I decided to change them for locking tuners which helped loads. Stock tuners acceptable for home, but wouldn't depend on them for a gig.
Pickups: I got a bit confused with this. I was told it had ACH pickups, it doesn't. Mine say 'hot 'n' nasty' on the back of them. Regardless of that they are non staggered flat poles with ceramic magnets. Not exactly quality, but for home volumes I was pleasantly surprised. Slightly scooped sounding but good clarity (I'm always on the neck). I did change them out for something else but didn't like that. Also tried changing the magnet on the stock pickup to a Alnico V or II magnets
Jury still out on that one. If you are after distorted noises I think they're fine.
Body/neck: really good! Frets and neck were great. Really pleased. Can't fault it. Body also a work of art, no faults at all. Loved the burst on it. Great worn look. Not a fan of the matt finish. I compound polished the whole body and buffed to shine. Gleams now with a satin/gloss finish. You can see the grain much better.
Overall: great guitar for any time you need an arch top. Its not my main axe currently but when I found a pickup I'm happy with it certainly might be!
