Ibanez AMH90-CRF

AM model I was waiting for

For quite some time I was trying to make up my mind which (semi-)hollow model to get, looking at different models from different manufacturers. Ibanez AM being favorite among several small-bodied models, which I prefer more than bigger ones. Existing AM93ME looks nice, but is not quite up my alley.

When Ibanez introduced these to new models, it was almost instant buy, Main selling point for me was the fact that this model is a fully hollow and this new finish. Black one is nice, but ubiquitous. Color up close is, to my eye, a lot nicer, a shade or two darker then shown in images above.

While there are always space for little improvements, setup is good out-of-the-box. I didn't touch anything and I have it for three months now. "Sticky" nut is the only negative thing I could find on this instrument, but it is solvable with little bit of graphite or nut files.

All in all, I am very happy with this instrument.
