Ibanez Q54-SFM

Overall a beautiful guitar

I was looking for a lighter guitar because I’m short statured and the Les Pauls were too heavy while playing standing up for long hours. From my research, headless was the way to go.

The Ibanez stood out from other headless guitars because of their monotune bridge tuners. Their tuning stability is amazing! And the roasted neck is gorgeous, you have to see it in person to appreciate it. Coming to the pickups, this has the Ibanez’s custom pickups, super hot output to combat the small body and I love them. Haven’t used the single coils as much as the humbuckers (I play mostly heavy stuff ) but went with the HSS cuz of versatility in case I do need it.

Coming to the finish, everything’s good except the black paint bleed in between the switch selector pot. Not worthy of a send-back (my viewpoint) cuz it’s there only if you look at it in detail, but worth to note. Apart from this, everything was on point, and playing it is so easy cuz it’s small!
