Perfect
I have a Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 at home, and this guitar, even if it's way cheaper and not US made, it's very an amazing piece of gear. I absolutely love everything from this guitar, the look, the shape, the neck. If like me you don't like stratocasters shape, go for this guitar, it's an amazing instrument.
The only "bad" thing is that the guitar wasn' properly setup when i got it, i had to adjust almost everything for it to sound like it should.
Easy to play, great features, great sound and great build
I have several guitars and this is my first with single coil PU's. The sounds is very clear and crisp wihtout being thin and there is a warmness to the sound . Feel ofthe guitar is freat and it is very easy to play. neck feels extremely comfortable and I find myself playing this as much or more than my guitars that cost 3-4 times as much. I find the quality is great for the price.
I am an amateur who use the guitar at home, but would not worry about using the guitar on a stage.
Cons: It deserves to come with a case and would like more colors
I received the guitar in a pale yellow finish.
I received the guitar in a pale yellow finish.
The entire finish is so far off the advertised product that I cannot understand how Ibanez' would willingly let this particular guitar pass the quality control (if any exists).
What most likely happened is that the outer layers of the coating were applied long before the green foundation was dry, so they all mixed into this weird looking yellow.
I still played the guitar for a couple of minutes and it sounds and plays wonderfully, but I won't accept a guitar at that price point if I am not happy with it and will have to return it.
