inaccurate controls

the keyboard itself was fine but unfortunately the controls is where it fell short. it had a habit of resetting to default when using it with either a vst instrument on the computer and the same result when using a midi module. this company need to up their game on the programming of this controller to make it run much more accurately and smoother in controlling other midi devices and vst instruments. for these reasons I cant give it more than a 2 out of 5.

Excellent but not quite perfect

I really like this keyboard. It feels well-made and has many good features. I love that it has a profile for REAPER - even though it is not quite complete. I also love that it has 37 full-size keys. There are very few controllers available in this format but it suits a home studio much better than 25 key or mini-key controllers, to my mind.

The downsides are:

- The octave shift doesn't tell you how many octaves you've shifted, just the direction

- At least for Reaper the ribbon controller doesn't control volumes, though it does do pan

- The manual is a bit lacking and out-of -date.

Other than these points the only other thing to note is that the default velocity curve is over-sensitive - everything comes out at high MIDI velocities. I set it to Curve 5, which is much better and as good as my previous controller.

Overall it is really good quality and high functionality for the price, though some may miss a few assignable controllers.

I'm very glad to have finally bought this MIDI Controller!

Pros:

- rock solid

- touch is very very pleasant

- transport bar is handy

Cons:

- don't like the "jog" knob feeling

- ruban kind slider is nothing special

- doesn't come with power adapter (which is required to update the firmware)

Heavy, well made keyboard, im not a professional piano player but i like the keys, i think its amazing quality for the price!

Never been so in love with a keyboard.

Simple no fuss around, the quality of materials and sensitivity to touch while straight forward plug and play with no confusing software drivers and etc...
