Good unit but awful implementation

I had to return this is too much of an headache to get it to work properly.

The unit feel solid and I like the design, however when setup with Cubase works not to well, at some point it was randomly changing visibility of the track. The fader occasional offer some randome resistance.

Save and get something better.

Have this working with ProTools. Build quality is OK. Rubber select buttons working fine but far too bright, faders could be of better quality/more robust. Knobs very limited (in ProTools) as to what they can do. Forget about using them to select Read > Latch > Off for automating the channel - they just change pan.

Also bought the Platform D2 display and again a let down. Only shows name of track and nothing else.

Conclusion: Buy nice don't buy twice - steer clear and save for the SSL UF8 to get the job done.

Nice to hane, not must have

I use it as extender for platform m+ with Reaper..

Very nice looking... Nice to have, not noisy, simple to set up... I would never use it alone, and only with display whic makes it pricey...
