Solid build and amazing looks but the pickups let it down

The build quality for a £600 guitar is great, very solid and I couldn’t find any blemishes. I’ve had for a few months now and I can’t complain about how it handles. The Floyd Rose special has given me no problems at all and it came set up out the box brilliantly.

FYI The cracked mirror finish is an effect (scratched mirror foil under clear lacquer) and not actual shattered mirror, but this isn’t an issue because the end result is amazing all the same.

My only criticism is the Jackson pickups. They give a somewhat useable tone but catch a LOT of noise from the trem, and I mean A. LOT. It’s impossible to play at volume without a good noise gate set with a pretty extreme threshold. I’ll be looking to change the pickups soon and will edit an update if I can.

Apart from that it’s a fun and solid guitar.
