Low B strings can be difficult to blend with the four higher strings but in this case the Belcanto B works for me with 4 Spirocore medium tension on top. The pizz sound is well sustained but not booming and the arco action is very satisfactory. Very pleased with this string.

I think this is the best B5 string available. It has great colour and projection, speaks immediately and rings beautifully, both arco and pizzicato. It has a big tonal volume and clarity even when you play high on the string. I have been using these strings for years and would never choose anything else.

This string fits perfectly. It sounds great while playing with the bow and pizzicato. For playing jazz pizzicato I recommend higher tension strings for better playing ability.
