Amazing Versatility on a Budget

I bought this unit because I wanted a budget option for some modulations. I think this pedal is amazing. Its a budget friendly option that gives you more than enough modulation and even pitch effects that anyone would need. The sound from this pedal is great and I couldn't ask for more. I love the stereo capacity of this pedal and the fact it has multiple routing options making it incredibly versatile. the knobs are smooth and its very easy to use and the lights on the pedal are bright and look fantastic. The footswitches have had no issues in the 2 years I've had this pedal. I'm now buying this one as a gift for a friend and would highly recommend this pedal for anyone looking for an affordable modulation MACHINE!

Disappointing sounds, too much for one box

Tried this pedal after watching some youtube reviews. Don't know how they dialed in their sounds. I was looking for a flanger effect and took the other effects as a bonus. The flanger was very underwhelming. The one sound i found usable was the Chorus.

Ok for a starter

Its good only if you want to explore all these sounds it provides but low quality.

Awesome!!

For the money this is absolutely awesome. All I can say is without much fiddling it sounds cool straight out the box. Absolute steal at the price.

Good pedal and sounds very good

Overall, very good sounds we can take out of this unit. easy to dial in and modulations are very usable. we can have 2 different sounds on each channel and combine them.

Phaser + Flanger

Bought this because I wanted a single pedal that could do both phaser and flanger at the same time.

The Dual Vision does just that and sounds good too, close to 70-80’s sound of these 2 effects and without the noise that other phasers add on the side.

The other effects sound fine too.

The only negative part is that volume can go above unity with the mix knobs, but that could also be a good thing if 1-2 of its effects are engaged for solos.

Great for its price

Keep in mind this is a cheap multi effect pedal, so don't expect it to perform on the same level as a fancy single effect. That said, it does the job really well. I mainly just it for flange and chorus on my bass, and it's the only multi modulation pedal I've seen that lets you do both at the same time or switch one and the other without using your hands: I just have analog flange on the right side and chorus on the left side. It's also one of the rare cheap modulation pedals to include a blend function. I use it for my bass and want to add a bit of spice to my sound without it sounding "weird", so blend control is essential for me. Is it the best modulation pedal on the market? Probably not. But definitely great for the low price.

A rather unique pedal

I haven't seen many pedals like this, so to get one as good as this is awesome.

Not only do you get 18 different effects (9 on each side), you can tweak each and every one of them via the knobs (speed, control, rate, depth, type). You can also combine two effects at a time. So if you want to combine an octave effect with a chorus effect, knock yourself out.

You can also choose the direction, like an Octave effect going into a Chorus effect then out, or Octave+Chorus together then out.

So as a tool for finding experimental sounds, this is a really cool pedal. As an ambient/experimental guitarist, this pedal was a great find.

What also makes this pedal unique is how easy it is to use, most other multieffect/mod-pedals I've seen are neither convenient nor intuitive, but this one is super-easy to learn and use. To me, using knobs is much better than trying to navigate via a LED/digital-screen.

The sound is great, and the quality is good. I have nothing to complain about.

The usefulness of this pedal will depend on the sounds you are after, it is perhaps best suited for people like me who like to experiment with unique, unusual and weird sounds.

Great affordable entry to modulation!

I bought this pedal as a way to test out which kind of modulation effects were for me as I had never tried any before.

I had 2 other Joyo pedals, so I knew how well built these pedals were and with 18 effects in one for an affordable price, it was a no brainer.

With the ability to stack 2 effects, you can really get some cool and crazy sounds out of it. All the Joyo pedals in this series are really well built and look great with the led side lights.

Met my requirements but I find it confusing

The pedal works just fine and I had no issues with the signal - noise or whatever.

Solid built.
