So useful

Easy to use, really good quality and cheap, you can’t ask for more

All is good but looper system how to delete the previous one and adding new one is quite difficult.

Flimsy pedal with bad handling

Well, what can you expect with the price: The pedal proved to be extremely flimsily built in the end, and not easy to work around with. I was going to use it with my band but it's been gathering dust on a top shelf since rehearsal #2 because it did not feel reliable enough.

Too much for a low price

I've had this pedal for almost 2 years now. I must admit I have mixed feeling about it.

First of all, as a delay, it's an amazing piece for this price. All the effects are interesting and most of them are useful, especially when playing live. Indeed, one of the best choices in this price-range

Talking about the looper, it's a great addition to the pedal -considering the price, once again. The modulation also available with the looper mode is really helpful, perfect for adding oddly satisfying loops behind your guitar. However, it's not so easy to use:

-Overdubbing is possible, but one mistake will have you deleting the whole thing, and

-Stopping the loop in time is -at times- rather difficult, unless you've been using double pedal as a drummer.

As I said it's a great addition, but can hardly be used live, unless you aren't going for something complex. Casual home use is pretty fine.

But, despite all these decent features of the pedal, I've had many issues with noise. It's been happening for the last year or so, and every time I first turn on the pedal it obliterates my ears. Now, I can somehow stop it if I plug out the cable and press on the jack plug - I still don't understand why-, but it is an unsettling "feature" anyways. I've seen other joyo pedals from this series create signal problems too.

To conclude this not-so-short review, I do recommend this pedal as a delay for less than 100 euros, since it gives lots of option that will do their job and surely keep you entertained. But, perhaps this variety of features -in comparison to the price- does come at a cost, considering that the signal issues made it unusable at first. Either way, "too much for a low price" has it's pros and cons. Keep doing your research on this pedal and you'll now if it suits you

Great overall delay

Had this one for almost a year now, and it still works perfectly fine.

The sounds are everything you would need from a delay pedal, unless you want to eq the sound of it, which I personally don't do, because I just use it to diversify different parts slightly, and the occasional dotted 8th effect.

All in all a great pedal for the price

I bought this after seeing a few reviews on YouTube as my first standalone delay pedal. I wanted to move away from my multi-effects unit as I'm getting frustrated with having to dig through all the menus to find the settings that are right for me.

I'm not going to go into all the individual sounds on this pedal as no-one ever plays with just one effect do they? It has loads of different types of delay with easily adjustable parameters easily at hand. No digging through menu settings to change the sound I want. I like that you can dial in the exact delay time you need for your track without having to train your feet to the inexact science of tempo tap (I can never get it exactly right).

The unit feels solid enough, it doesn't have the tank-like feel of a Boss pedal but I'm not going to be taking it to a warzone any time soon. I like the LED strip on the end too, it's a nice touch. I've bought this, the Atmosphere reverb and the mini Molo-Trem at the same time and I can't say I'm disappointed with any of them. I would certainly consider buying a Joyo pedal again and will keep an eye out for new releases.

A Flashback on a budget

Just the ability to use the delay while the looper is running is great, also I like the lofi filter of said looper. But most of the delay modes are "meh", with a few nice exceptions. Also, the lights are pretty cool.

In a nutshell, if you are low on cash get this, you won't regret it, but if you have a bit more go for the flashback (toneprint technology is amazing).

Poor QC

Pedal was faulty out of the box. Returned it, waited for a replacement to arrive. Second use, stopped working all together. Led lights look cool tho, sadly, no sounds when engaged. Don't buy joyo.

Accessible delay pedal for an accessible price!

I've been using this pedal with my keyboard & synths for a while now. I've connected it as a send to my Yamaha MT3X tape recorder, and it works great for this purpose.

First, the delays:

You get a pretty good selection of delays. If you're looking for any specific one, you might find the quality/controls of each delay type somewhat lacking, but that's not this pedal's forte. Each type sounds good and they work pretty well with the instruments/patches I used!

The downside is, as mentioned, the lack of control on each. You get the standard feedback, delay time and level, and that's your lot. If that's enough for you, perfect!

Second, the looper:

There's no way of syncing this thing to anything. You can hope that you get the loop perfectly right with whatever you're playing, but it's definitely a bit more experimental/finicky in that regard.

That being said, I feel like this is the best part of the pedal. The fact that the looper does work WITH any delay (needs some hand-fiddling, but eh) makes this a pretty amazing pedal. It's the main reason I use it with my keyboard: layer a bunch of instruments, and boom!
